Item shipped by seller is not as was described. It is a normal cotton thread, which does not absorb a single drop of water, let alone it can water the plants. Sells for not more than Rs 100, which being sold for Rs 999.Please don't waste your money. Seller should be blacklisted.

Worst product from Amazon. Please don't buy it. You can get the 1cm thick rope in 3ply from hardware stores at much cheaper price. Also the pictures shown for this brand are completely different to what they sell.

Plain cotton/jute cord. No polyester as described. Useless.

Product seems off. Doesn't do anything.Material seems different from what has been described and colour is also not white. Overall its a best to stay away.

I was skeptical that this design for watering plants would work. As an engineer, I know the theory behind it, but had never tried it. I was able to cut the length i needed, wet it, and put the ends in the plant and a 5 gallon bucket. My plant got sufficient water and didn't die after being gone for a week. I would love to try the example that was shown with the string at the bottom of the water leaching up water from below (maybe in the future).

Having a bucket of water on a chair with strings down into the soil of a pot that’s on the ground worked. Just make sure that the ends of the string that are in the bucket go down to the very bottom of the bucket.

Je l'utilise comme mèche capillaire dans une configuration de pierres au fond du pot, sans quoi le surplus d'eau stagnerait dans la soucoupe.

Ho provato altri cordini di cotone che sembravano più "naturali" ma non funzionavano granché, questo al tatto non sembra cotone ma fa egregiamente il suo lavoro tanto che per vasi piccoli occorre fare dei nodi per evitare di annegare la pianta.
