Incredible Value!
I’ve had all 3 Soundcore series speakers, purchased over the past 9 years, and I’ve never heard so much great sound come from such a small speaker. Reliable connection from 50+ feet, long battery life, deep bass (for a small speaker), , great highs, and waterproof.If you’re looking for a Bluetooth speaker for under $50, don’t hesitate purchasing this winner!

Excellent quality for the cost!
I am always surprised to hear this thing. Back in the day you'd need a decent stereo to put out the sound but these days phones almost do the same! This has a decent low end as low to mid volumes, good mids and highs. Louder volumes and it distorts but in a 10x10 room, this thing sounds perfect. It's not a rave machine. But your analog instruments sound really good. For the price you pay you get your monies worth. Would buy it again if this gets destroyed.

Amazing how good it sounds, and how easy it is to pair
I’ve used various Bluetooth headphones and speakers. Some sound good but have onerous software or finicky pairing, some pair easily but have tinny audio or poor battery performance. This little device manages to have a nice, rich, full sound without any technical vices. I turn it on, it pairs seamlessly with my iPad Pro, and soon I am working happily in my garage, listening to my music, podcasts, and audiobooks, thinking I have spent more than I have on audio equipment. Is it the pinnacle of audio hardware? No. But it sounds great, lasts very long on a charge, and is dead simple to use. It goes anywhere and is all I could want in a portable Bluetooth speaker. Great value for the money. So glad I got it.

Beefier and sturdier
I got the Anker Soundcore 3 after I accidentally left my old Soundcore 2 on the roof of my car and left work. Ooops! So I decided it was a good time to upgrade. I also wanted to get a new one that used the UCB-C ports since that's what my phone also uses. Its nice having consistent ports across multiple devices so you aren't juggling cables.The overall speaker is a bit bigger and sturdier feeling than the previous one. Sound wise I feel like it's a bit better in the higher range frequencies. The Soundcore 2 was definitely more bass focused. Switching from my car's speakers to the stereo I could always notice a cut of the high mids and mid frequencies. The Soundcore 3 has less of that. Its not the best sounding speaker ever, but it's robust and gets the job done for a good price point. I'll be sticking with Anker on these going forward!Overall I'm pretty happy with the new one. I also got in a lighter color to avoid last times little misshap! ^^;

Great sounding small Bluetooth speaker… when using the custom 9-band EQ in the Phone App
I bought the Soundcore 3 to replace my Tribit Maxsound Plus for use as a low volume kitchen-counter "background radio" playing Pandora all day long.Pandora has an outstanding algorithm for selecting relevant songs but for me, the sound has too much midrange and not enough deep bass or sparkling treble. It sounds more like AM radio, not very "Hi-Fi".When using Pandora on an iPhone or iPad, there's no way to EQ the sound … why I cannot more highly recommend all recent Soundcore speakers and earbuds compatible with their free phone app which has a "game changer" custom 9-band EQ.Here's a link to my 2021 review of the larger Soundcore Motion Boom (still one of the best outdoor speakers) with an explanation of how to install the phone app and adjust the custom EQhttps://www.amazon.com/review/R2U6B0N78540QJ/(copy and paste the above URL into a web browser address bar)Using the V-shaped custom EQ on the smaller Soundcore 3 transforms the sound of Pandora when played at low to medium "background" settings: smooth, easy to listen to, deep bass and detailed treble. By comparison the Tribit Maxsound Plus playing Pandora has blary midrange and for me is unlistenable (Tribit does sound good on Spotify when using it's custom EQ setting found in their phone app as follows: Profile > Settings and privacy > Playback > Equalizer > create a V shaped curve as shown in my Motion Boom review)Tips-- if the volume is turned up high, the deep bass sliders (left side) of my custom EQ should be moved down to prevent distortion.-- I recommend comparing the sound in the usual horizontal orientation vs a vertical "tower" orientation. In the corner of my kitchen, the sound is much better standing up vertical: deeper cleaner bass / smoother midrange / more detailed treble.I hope this is helpful.

Anker with another hit
I have the Soundcore 2, which is excellent. I bought this item, the Soundcore 3, because I misplaced my Soundcore 2, needed a bluetooth speaker, and the price on this one was great. Both models are EXCELLENT, and I appreciate that the Soundcore 3 uses usb-c for charging. If you're on the fence, get this one. Anker makes excellent products.

Amazing sound!
I cannot believe how well this works. Rich sound at lower volume levels. I primarily listen to classical music with it. The battery life seems quite reasonable, and it is not physically too big.

Sounds good and does what I need it to
I bought this because my original Anker Soundcore did the job but was not keeping a charge. I use this for white noise so I can sleep at night in the big city. I do have to say, the battery on this one does not last as long but it does last a couple nights between charges. I had a problem with the Bluetooth losing it's pairing but Anker helped me get it reset and it is working fine now
