And the adult (rather than kid) in me even loved the sweet intimacy of them spreading out a blanket to lay on together and look at the stars. It’s such a positive representation of real-life romance, imo, and true to the characters. I’m glad to be able to share it with another kiddo I know who’s obsessed with The Little Mermaid, and glad to have my own copy, both to share with my own future children and as a once-upon-a-time also obsessed with The Little Mermaid kid myself.

Lovely book for bedtime because the stories are quite short, a good variety of stories with all the princesses. Only criticism is that one of the Cinderella stories has a spelling mistake.
