Diese Erweiterung erweitert die Heldenauswahl um ein paar (für mich) wichtige Charaktere. Black Bolt hatten wir bereits in Secret War. Weitere Helden neben Black Bolt sind Medusa, Crystal, Karnak und Gorgon. Neue Masterminds sind Maximus und Vulkan. Die Black Bolt Karten aus diesem Set haben eine ähnliche Mechanik wie in Secret War. Beide lassen sich daher ganz gut kombinieren. Die neue "Favor of the Throne" Mechanik muß noch weiter ausgetestet werden. Für "Favor of the Throne" hätte der Hersteller ruhig einen Pappcounter oder dergleichen beilegen können.
