This review was written for the following product : " ( 2 Pack ) Esddi Photo Studio Photography 135 Watt 5500k Day Light Fluorescent Full Spectrum Bulb E27 Base ( 1 ) "I purchased these bulbs to use in combination with the setup I currently use to take photos of products to sell on eBay and Etsy. I have been using smaller "daylight" bulbs previously, but they are not as bright or as large as I would like them to be. These are huge and give off much more light than the ones I was using before! I have been very happy with my purchase and my listing photos are looking better than they ever have before! I have only had them a few weeks so I cannot speak to how long they will last before needing to be replaced but when they do burn out, I will be purchasing more to replace them. They have made my product photography much easier and cleaner looking - that makes all the difference when you are selling items on eBay! They came packaged very well - each bulb in its own fitted box - so they arrived safely with no damage. Great large size, they give off plenty of bright, clean light, and I love the results I have gotten in my listing photos. Wow! These are some of the largest bulbs I have ever seen! BUT they fit in your standard light socket. They give you light a 5500K which is the daylight-balanced photographic film standard. I work in printing and that is the correct light to view color proofs in. We used to have buy special light boxes and bulbs... now we can get the same light with regular light fixtures and these bulbs. Nice, The light is probably 'cooler' in color than most people are accustomed too, but this again is the daylight-balanced photographic film standard. Although these will fit in your standard light socket, if you plan on using these at home, make sure your light shade will be large enough for these. These really wouldn't work in a torchere fixture or some with fixed shades, as i said these bulbs are big. Someone posted a picture relating the size. All in all these are great for true light representation. I did receive this product at a discount from retail to try it out and review. The (2 Pack) Esddi Photo Studio Photography 135 Watt 5500k Day Light Fluorescent Full Spectrum Bulb E27 Base are great bulbs for any photographer. The bulbs are nicely packaged (in styrofoam which was in a cardboard box) and were in perfect condition upon arrival. This is important, as I have ordered lightbulbs online before that were not packaged so well and some of the bulbs didn't make it to me in one piece.These bulbs screw into a standard E27 base. They are energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs, so they don't use nearly as much electricity as standard bulbs do. These light bulbs are 5500k, they emit a very white light. The white light is needed to produce true color photographs when taking photos inside, especially when you are in a room that doesn't have a lot of windows to let the natural sunlight in. The lifespan of these bulbs is supposed to be 5000 hours, so these bulbs should last me for a very long time.
