Westin 57-2015 HDX 1-Piece Grille Guard fits 2004-2008 F150

Very nice and sturdy bumper! You will not be disappointed!! Great value to save your front end if you hit a large animal! I am very happy with it!!! I recommend getting one if you see Deer often!?

Overall the Westin HDX is above all others. The HDX is not just for cosmetics. This guard is very well made and as tough as they come. Almost all brush guards have the front bars that to protect leaving the headlight guards only for looks. The others have light bars that are low quality and body on. If you hit anything or you get hit, they will bend into your panel or lights causing more damage. Not on the HDX.. This guard is all welded 2" steel tube that has virtually no give whatsoever around the light assemblies, let alone the front end. The instructions are rather "lacking" and vague being an understatement. Don't trust the pics and read the brief instructions while looking at your truck, then Google for better instructions. Took about 3 hours to install by myself and it is rather heavy so be ready. Highly recommend and wouldn't choose anything other unless you have the money for a Ranch Hand. Shipping was fast via freight truck - 3 days before Christmas even.

Third times a charm! First order was placed in November 2014 and returned because the bracket located on the grille (driver's side) was incorrectly welded; to low on the grille cross-member. Unable to properly align and secure the grille bracket into the upper receiving bracket attached to the trucks frame. Second grille returned because it was damaged in shipment. Finally, received third grille January 28th, 2015 and it fits like a glove :) Overall, quality is good and looks great on my 2004 F-150 Lariat. Instructions were initially difficult to follow and I had to modify (drill new holes) to mount the upper mounting brackets (step 4) to the truck (radiator area). Called Westin customer support, and spoke with a representative addressing the issue, and I even forwarded pictures to Westin, at their request; no reply and a waste of time. I'm happy now and hope not to repeat this nightmare again...........

Powder coat is coming off and coating my front end .Why? Is this happening.The wind is eroding power coat off on to my truck

Good looking on my husband's ford f150. Big mix up on shipping. 1st one was lost and I needed it for a birthday present.

My only concern is the instructions they a little hard to follow and the pics are to small( or I'm getting Old) a short length of stiff wire and maybe a set of small hands will help greatly.The factory bolt that you remove for the upper mounting bracket is held in by a thin flat washer once you loosen them you have to tap them out from the inside.I did this myself but would advise a helper once you go to mount the grill guard.

Looks mean like we wanted. Had issues with return of shipping damage to first one then bank problems but they did very well solving them.Heavy duty is what it is and looks great. go online to get good pictures of install because the pics they send are bad, call them they will send it to you
