Hard to set up but works great.
Instructions are not very clear, and the support pages has little information. Too much of the wording is very vague and generic. Required a few hours of searching to find a step by step video from a third party.Once you see the video, the instructions are becomes blindingly obvious

Great device - works perfectly
I purchased the lift master home hub to connect my garage door on (myQ) to my Apple home. It works great. I had a little trouble making the connections but I call the tech number for Liftmaster and they walked me through the process.

Liftmaster installation instructions continue to be sub-par.
I'm giving it 4 stars because it works about 80% of the time. The other 20% of the time, there is a malfunction that requires the user to redo the request. But my big gripe is Liftmaster's installation instructions. They continue to be written by someone who knows the system inside-out. Therefore, "simple" steps are often skipped, assuming that the user "will just know what to do". Please remind the authors that they need to "Winnie-the-pooh" it in dirt-simple step by steps instructions for those of us who have maybe installed one of these in our entire lives. Thanks for listening.

What a disaster
i purchased the Liftmaster lifts specifically because they advertised "HomeKit Integration". the Liftmaster and Chamberlain lifts are not HomeKit compatible without this $100-ish accessory. "fine" you say, "i'm an apple fan so i'll pony up the extra $ and we'll be all set, right?" not so fast there kiddo - this hub is everything that is wrong with development and tech companies today - the MyQ app is buggy, and the setup process for this hub is so broken i can't even. i went thru every variation, hack, internet tip that exists - no dice. 2 looooong calls with Chamberlain support, resulted in nothing but time lost from my life. they gave only the most basic advice and blamed apple. both reps freely admitted that this was their least favorite device and had more calls on it than any other.unless you are a masochist, i would strongly advise staying away from this product. and before you say it's all in the setup, sure, there are always variations from one install to the next, but the lack of documentation, and the ridiculously simple "read from a script" approach of the the support is noted in hundreds of reviews.in the end, i finally got the second of these to work - but only after literally 50 attempts and resetting absolutely everything involved (lifts, hub, routers, security settings, remotes). it wasn't worth it.

Easy setup
Unlike other reviews, I found the setup extremely easy. I had this setup and mounted in my garage in about 15 minutes. With a strong internet connection, I have found this to work very well with Apple HomeKit and CarPlay. The downside, it's expensive and shouldn't be needed when I already have a MyQ-enabled garage door opener.

Works great when I say Hey Siri open the garage.
Love the integration with my iPhone.

Only controls two doors.
First, why is this needed in the first place, the Chamberlin and Liftmaster doors have wifi and work with other home automation systems - why not HomeKit? My guess, they went the cheapest path and added complexity, where it wasn't needed. Also, the installation instructions are silent on the need to clear existing wifi settings from your currently installed door openers. Without doing this it's impossible to pair the doors to the hub. Again, this is a design failure - it's an easy thing to make the hub recognize the devices.

3 Liftmaster/ Chamberlain devices and MyQ started weak and is getting worse. Spammy Garbage!
The Liftmaster/MyQ app support is POOR and seems to be getting worse since we bought our Liftmaster(Chamberlain) devices! (Check out the Google Play MyQ reviews, they are getting killed!)The functionality is the most basic it can be with nothing to help their customers.Big Issues:1. Spams you EVERY time you try to open the gater/garage with a "subscribe to Amazon Prime garage access". Then when you say "No", it says "Are you sure?". WTF?! The answer is no and will remain no. TURN OFF THE SPAM especially when we are trying to just get in the garage. We paid $10K with install for these 3nopeners!!2. Notice of activity doesn't work if your phone isn't active. You get 20 notices after you unlock the screen when it's way too late to do anything.3. Screen is annoying bright after dark. No dark mode switch.4. No notice about how the gate opened outside the app. If someone opens with a remote or a keypad, it doesn't specify "Opened by Keypad X" or "Opened by Remote 2".5. This is a biggie: No notice of problems or issues with the gate!! We had a wire cut by landscaping crew. It threw an error code inside the gate opener, and the gate wouldn't operate. The app doesn't tell you something is wrong, or give you useful info like the error code and what the error code means. NOPE. Just sits there saying the gate is opening. "Opening gate for 4.3 hours". We have to get multiple calls from clients to say they are locked in and can't get out of the property.Absolutely worthless.Example 2, our gate opener lost power, and continued to work on battery a couple of days before it failed.ZERO warning from the app, no "power disconnected", no "battery is low", NOTHING!You have to physically unscrewed the gate opener to figure out what is up and see "battery low" tiny LED light. In the meantime, customers and clients are locked out and screaming at us!Step up your game, Liftmaster/MyQ. Your app is weak! For the money you charge, this stuff should be flawless, not pathetic.
