Solid, excellent quality
I'm very impressed with this bottle opener. It is heavy in a good way - its sturdy, well-made, and all the hinges and parts work smoothly and perfectly. It has all the elements I like in this type of opener - first, the part that hooks to the side of the bottle is hinged. So many openers only have one level of pressure hook, which means you have to muscle the second half of the cork out and risk breaking it. Not so with this one! Second, the foil-cutting knife is serated. On many openers, the foil knife is smooth, so it doesn't cut the foil well. Lastly, as I mentioned, the quality is solid and the handle is the perfect size for my hand. All in all, this is my new go-to and it's a fantastic price.

Great little product that does a fine job. I always have trouble with these, but this one was pretty easy to use.

Pointy metal thing cheap.
Great for its price, don't know about corks, but the pointy metal end was very useful in removing a fuse cover.

So-so
A very common style. Works OK with "easy" corks, but is rather weak (the metal in the twisted part) for more difficult corks. (Difficult corks seem to be more common with #9 corks used for home-made wine.)
