The pros: the shampoo and the conditioner smell wonderful and they really condition your hair. My hair is dry and I've been coloring it to cover gray hair way too long, so I really need a gentle shampoo and a conditioner that actually softens and conditions. The cons: the set is a little pricey, more than I normally spend on shampoo and conditioner. Also, the shampoo has no sulfate so there's no suds! It says right on the label that it contains no suds and the label on the back says the sulfate is what causes suds, so you're warned but still, when you first wash your hair with the shampoo, it's a bit surprising that you actually have no suds! The shampoo does clean your hair, though, as it feels clean afterwards so if not having bubbles is not a problem, then you'll like this gentle shampoo!

My first impressions after opening the shampoo and conditioner were that they smelt like a hint of coconut and creamy greek yogurt. I personally love the smell of it, but it might not be for everyone. After my shower, I noticed that the scent went away from my hair, so it is not strong or long-lasting--bit of a disappointment. Both products are thick and I felt the need to use more shampoo each time which makes the bottles seem small for the price. The shampoo is sulfate-free, so it does not sud up--Like seriously ZERO suds. It was different for me to run my fingers through my hair and feel no suds. Both bottles look like they do in the description photos and overall I feel the product delivered what it should have. I use the Curls Goddess Curls Botanical Gelle and the Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave-Im Conditioner every day and love, love, love those products. However, the shampoo and conditioner is a no for me. Even with using my every day products from this brand, the shampoo and conditioner seemed to dry my hair out. My curls were still defined (my hair is naturally curly anyway) but my hair looked dull looking and I just didn’t like the feel of it.

This shampoo and conditioner smells wonderful! Makes your hair soft, and feel clean and luxurious! It takes a more than a traditional shampoo and conditioner to treat your hair, and it does not lather up as one would expect. Yet it does get your hair clean and smelling nice, with a nice shine to it once it's dry.
