This is one of the best small appliance purchases I've ever made. First of all, using the recipes that come with the machine, the ice cream is delicious. It is so superior that any store ice cream, with the possible exception of Talenti, doesn't come close in consistency, flavor and addictive qualities. Second, it is extremely easy to use. Nothing could make it simpler than simply pouring your ice cream batter into it and turning the machine on. Finally, compared with many other alternatives, including others from Cuisinart, is inexpensive.
