The Shades of Magic Series: (A Darker Shade of Magic, A Gathering of Shadows, A Conjuring of Light)

My niece asked for these for Christmas. She has read them twice! She loves them! They came in a really nice box set easy for storing if you don't have room on your book shelf!

Books did not come with the slipcase pictured. They arrive with just a plastic wrap around them.

This Trilogy really captured my attention, it is well written, the characters arr interesting and their motivations are well explored.I enjoyed the story and the intruding setting. Highly recommend to any fantasy lovers.

I loved this series. Combine ATLA with Harry Potter set in a unique multi-verse and you will still be amazed.

The series is very cute and liked it a lot but the books arrived with scuffed and bent corners and one of them had ink marks like it had been drawn on with a pen (marked as new?). The other books in the order weren’t damaged so seems like it didn’t happen in transit.I can see a couple of people said similar things about condition so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Weird thing though, the books smell really strongly like flour

Each book gets better and better. I found that I resented having to go to work or do any other normal everyday tasks. Kell and Lila are about as perfect a pair of characters as you could get. Highly recommended!
