I have bought several such device over the years to hold a hard disk replaced by an SSD and enable the changeover. This one is the best made.

Did the job perfectly.

Excellent caddy for a SATA hard drive, removed from a broken laptop. Able to keep all the old data in a safe, accessible place. Good value for money, and very easy to use. Simple to connect to any PC or Laptop. Data transfer speeds are good.

I want the cable length as short and robust as possible. I don't want to have to plug the little cable into the case before it plugs into the actually device. This is the only box I found on Amazon where the lead goes directly into the case. So no messing about with the case falling off a loose plug leaving you holding the lead and the case (and drive bouncing) on the floor. Less one star because I ordered two in separate orders and one seemed DOA. They're Prime so no real issue other than the return, and I ordered another of the same.

It didn't work for me. I tried with two drives, one HDD and the other SSD. When you connect it to the computer, the power light comes on and that's it. Computers don't see it. I am not satisfied

Great value, fitted old HHD into one and a new SSD into the other. Both drives fit extremely well. Unit looks very smart, but also thin plastic that won't take much of a drop. The built in usb cable is a little short but usable. Note both drives where not recognised by windows 11, but opened drive management, format drives and both working great on laptops, TVs, mobile phones, tablets etc. Great for adding huge storage to a smart TV.

The reason I`ve only gave 3 stars is because i bought 2 and 1 didn`t work. Other than that the working one would get 5 stars. They came well packaged and the unit is solid enough for the price. Although i sent one back, I ordered another different one.

Esta carcasa de Hdd 'EasyULT Carcasa Discos Duros 2.5" con Cable USB 3.0, Estuche para SATA de 7-9.5mm' se me hace perfecta para trabajar con discos duros que debo repasar, reparar o recuperar sin la necesidad de utilizar herramientas ni tornillos para colocar el disco duro. Es una carcasa plástica con tapa deslizante. En su interior se encuentra el conector sata para discos duros, donde solo hay que encajar y apretar el disco duro para colocarlo. El disco duro una vez colocado queda perfectamente ajustado. Ojo, que para mi gusto queda excesivamente demasiado encajado y para sacarlo de nuevo hay que utilizar una púa plástica de desmontaje o similar para sacarlo. Esta es la única pega que le encuentro si utilizas la carcasa para probar discos duros. No obstante también es una ventaja, ya que si solo quieres la carcasa para insertarle un disco duro y olvidarte de él, sabes qeu no se va a mover lo más mínimo. El material de la carcasa es de plástico duro, muy bien acabada. Dispone de un led de color azul para indicar que el disco duro está en marcha. El cable usb va integrado en la carcasa sin posibilidad de desmontarlo. El conjunto es muy compacto y no necesita de alimentación externa para que funcione. En Windows 10 detecta la conexión con el nombre del disco duro y no con otro nombre como a veces pasa con algún tipo de carcasa de disco duro. El precio es medio, ni caro ni barato, pero en mi caso es perfecto por la flexibilidad que me da esta carcasa para ir cambiando discos duros de una forma rápida par aprobarlos en distintos ordenadores. Una carcasa recomendable.

J’avais des disques non utilisées à la maison alors finalement autant qu’ils servent. L’installation du disque se fait facilement et il est bien calé dans le boîtier évitant ainsi les vibrations. J’ai fais des tests de lecture et écriture sur le disque afin de vérifier que le boîtier ne limite pas les performances du disque. Et bien agréablement surpris car aucunes pertes malgré un petit prix. En toute transparence j’avais peur que les performances ne soient pas au rendez-vous. Bien évidement les performances sont directement liées au disque et avec un bon disque SATA qui traîne chez vous dans un tiroir, vous aurez un bon disque externe pour pas cher. Après une semaine d’utilisation sur mon MacBook, tout fonctionne tels qu’attendu et pourtant j’ai l’ai beaucoup sollicité avec des transferts de nombreux fichiers (sauvegardes) avec des petits fichiers comme des très gros. Bref ! Pour le prix je recommande pour transformer vos anciens disques internes 2.5 pouces en disque externe USB.
