love this knife holder, It's not a block per say, it's modern design looks great displaying my knives. If you are like me I spend a fortune on good knives and I am proud to display them not hide them in a block. The magnets work GREAT! I tried a cheaper version and the magnets did not hold the knives on.

Strong support, good looking, well crafted

This knife block is beautiful but the magnets are not strong enough to securely hold my knives, in fact, my 6 inch chef knife fell off and broke the tip. Very disappointed. I love the contemporary look but because of the poor magnets I will be replacing it with another solution.

Outstanding quality. If you like contemporary, this thing is well worth the cost. Before buying it, note the overall size. It will take up much more of your countertop space that the old, boring knife blocks from the 17th century, but if you have the space, by all means buy it. We are ecstatic about both the design and the construction. It's rock solid, and the magnets work very well. I even put an oversized pair of Henckel scissors on it, and the magnets hold even that.

This looks really great and holds the knives firmly but easily removed. Very happy with with this decision.

Had to return. It did not have enough magnets to hold the amount of knives it is advertised to hold. Very nice looking if you need a hoder for 5 or knives.
