Osho Whirling Meditation is based on an ancient Sufi technique. While the whole body is moving, you can witness your center being silent and still. Osho Whirling Meditation combines certain activities like shaking, dancing, jumping, humming and others to lead into silence and meditation. Music is used as a background for all these meditations. A final stage of 15 minutes of silence completes the meditation and a gong signals the end. A complete CD download includes also the silent stage with one of the tracks being mostly silence with a signal at the end this is part of the experience. Sufi whirling is one of the most ancient techniques, one of the most forceful. It is so deep that even a single experience can make you totally different. A sufi meditation
In this Osho version of the classical Sufi technique of whirling you whirl in a structured manner for 45 min. accompanied by some droning and rather 'weird' synth-music by Deuter. And afterwards you lie down on your stomach, leave the narrow everyday mind behind and let your true nature shine through. In other words in the second phase, which is 15 min., meditation can happen.It can actually also happen in the whirling, I remember doing it and suddenly realizing that it was the world that whirled, while 'I' was standing absolutely still.Not recommended if you suffer from nausea.In this enhanced version a videosegment guides you to the best possible beginning.A very effective technique but certainly not for everyone.

A little slow until Track 2 but then, WOW!
I really enjoy this type of music at work as it fades into the background in a soothing and relaxing way. I discovered track 2 while listening to my Spotify station when it came up based on my musical interests. While this wouldn't normally be my style of music, I have to admit I was intrigued at first and then compelled to view the artist/track information--yep, it's a real song. It's like an inspirational fight song for ninjas. It also long enough that I found I could leave for a few minutes and come back and not feel like I missed anything and it never gets old on "replay". I know it's probably just a remix of the 4'33" song by John Cage but it left me...speechless.

Una delle meditazioni più belle di Osho.Ne consiglio l'acquisto e la pratica di queste meditazioni che sembrano essere realizzate proprio per l uomo moderno pieno di cose inutili che solo attraverso la meditazione e il ritorno al se posso svanire nel nulla e portarsi dietro ogni stato d animo inutile.
