Shepherd Hardware 9496 3-Inch Soft Rubber Threaded Stem Caster with Side Brake, 3/8-Inch Stem Diameter, 150-lb Load Capacity , Black

These are great casters. I ordered them to replace smaller caster that were too small for the weight load and tables on which they were placed. The threaded stems on each of the old casters were all bent terribly and no longer of use. The Shepherd 3-inch casters add an estimated 2 inches of rise on the tables, but it shouldn't be a problem for the use. The 150-lb load capacity per wheel might be overkill and contribute to the increased height, but I have no fear that I will need to replace these any time soon. They were also a great price and shipping was very fast, which was also important.

They do what they do well. I put these on my router table and they move smoothly and easily. The wheels lock into place and make the table inmobile. What can I say is it a caster wheel that works.

I purchased 4 of these to be mounted on my 12" combo saw frame legs. Once I got the wheels to sit upright they worked great. I love the wheel locks also. The wheels do have to sit upright with very little or no angle in order for them to work.

It was probably overkill to order these wheels for my little handtruck however I won't have to worry about them falling apart. They are solidly built and will probably outlast the dolly. Fine quality at a low cost. I am glad I purchased these because they also have brakes if your not on level ground.

These are of good quality, and can handle the rated weight with no problem. I have four of them under a 600 pound AM broadcast transmitter. They roll smoothly, and do not damage most floors.
