Well, after about 20 mins each on the stones, these things are ready to rock. The flats on the backs are appropriate and they take a pretty awesome edge.That being said, these are softer than A2 steel. However, that also means you can just strop between use, and pull a razor’s edge quickly.I highly recommend these chisels. They’ll be perfect for cleaning out those hard to reach corners in dovetails or any other mortise.Don’t hesitate, just buy them and thank me later.

I was really surprised when I opened the box. These are Really nice and razor sharp. What an awesome deal! You can spend 5 times as much and not get this good and sharp of chisels.

Good quality, fit, and finish. Wish it was a socket chisel, but on account of the price paid for the set, the value is still exceptional. It’s a specialty chisel and plenty robust for the purpose and a socket feature is an unnecessary expenses.

Great, unlike other chisels, these skew chisels didn't have any tool marks, they were polished. I just sharpened them and ran them across the strop a few times. They are really well made.

Wasn't sure if it's get that much use our of these in my shop when first purchased but find myself constantly reaching for them on a daily basis for that little touch up work on my little boxes.

Chisels are very nice and I really appreciated them coming in a protective case since I will occasionally travel with them.

Bought as a gift, they seemed to be a good quality and the box helped with the presentation.
