Real noodle texture without noodle carbs
I can't eat regular ramen noodles anymore and I missed the texture, the experience of the noodles. They just have an irrational but solid place in my mind due to childhood comfort food status. I have tried konjac noodles and physically regretted it for hours and hours. Never again. But I kept shopping. These Chef Woo noodles had promising reviews and a promising ratio, but what sold me was actually some of the dissatisfied reviews. There are people who dislike the Chef Woo noodles because they're too firm. I can't tolerate mushy noodles; they send me involuntarily running for the trash can. When I would eat regular ramen noodles in the past I would slightly undercook them on purpose. Basically I like to chew my noodles. If they break down without much help from my teeth, they are inedible for me. If that also describes you, BUY THESE. Start with the recommended cook time and then experiment with slightly different cooking times with your microwave to find the Goldilocks texture for you depending on how powerful your microwave is. They do need to sit for a few minutes after the cook time also. Even when I have forgotten them for a little too long after cooking, so far I have not ever found them mushy. The chicken and beef flavors are both great and I alternate between them with my orders. I like to add dried chives before cooking. I did try the Thai lemongrass and it was good flavor but painfully spicy for me. For context, I can't eat regular buffalo wings, they're way too spicy. If that also describes you, the Thai lemongrass spice level is not for you. Overall I will buy the chicken and beef flavors for as long as they manufacture these without changing the formulation. I dearly miss the mushroom flavor of regular ramen noodles and couldn't find that in recent years anyway, so I would love it if Chef Woo made an umami flavor like that also.

Delicious, Easy, and the Perfect Kick of Spice
Chef Woo’s Spicy Tequila Lime Ramen Cup is a great go-to for a quick and satisfying meal. It’s super easy to make, which is perfect for a quick lunch, and I love that it packs a good amount of protein. The flavor is bold and delicious, with just the right amount of spice, but enough to give it a nice kick. The lime adds a refreshing balance, making it way more interesting than your average ramen. A solid choice if you want something tasty, convenient, and a little different! Also the cheapest of the options which makes it a good deal.

Tasty!
Love this high protein vegan ramen! I usually let it sit/cook a little longer for extra soft noodles.

Texture
They taste really good but the texture is horrendous. If you have any texture issues I don't recommend you buy them.

Good broth, grainy noodle.
So, I am a non-recovering addict of Cup Noodles brand ramen (Chicken flavor to be exact). I am on a journey to lose the back that I have gained over the years. This was a great find, because it increased my protein intake without adding too much to the carbs category. So I can appreciate the product. I bought the Thai Lemongrass flavor. My honest critique: The broth is tasty, has a very mild but welcome kick to it, the veggies are also tasty. I was not prepared for the ramen texture however. While I can overlook some of the differences, for me ramen enjoyment is hugely tied to noodle texture. The noodles have a nice appearance but felt grainy to me. All this to say is that if you are comparing protein ramen specifically I think this is a good one. If you are looking to replace a Cup Noodles habit, it may take some time. But seriously not totally bad.

has NO flavor, and has chili heat, but doesn’t say so. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
If you know what lemongrass tastes like…dont buy this. NONe of that flavor whatsoever. In addition if you dont want spicy/HOT ramen, dont buy this. It has a fair amount of heat in it..i like heat, but resent that this wasn’t in the description, nor are chili products in the ingredients. In addition, it needed salt…very little…left the whole mouth experience a mouth of hot water, chili, and noodles…no fla for at tall. I appreciate the high protein and the cost value compared to other hi protein ramen. This product misses its mark with favor and ingredient…can’t return this item..didnt notice this…so will use in another way…

Delicious Game-Changer
I was pleasantly surprised by Chef Woo's Spicy Tequila Lime Ramen. It's not your typical instant ramen; the noodles are far from the usual chewy texture and do a great job soaking up the flavor. The broth is where it really shines - it's well balanced, tasty, and has just the right amount of spice. I didn't expect much from a 20g protein ramen, but this one delivers on both taste and nutrition.I initially got this for the protein, but I'm definitely getting more, including a chicken or beef version for my wife. It's vegan, non-GMO, MSG-free, and made with organic ingredients, which is a huge plus. Chef Woo's got something special here - a healthy, high-protein meal that doesn't skimp on flavor.

Pretty good quick meal with extra protein
If you have sophisticated taste in Asian food, you might not care for this; it's essentially dry ramen and dehydrated spices with some extra protein. But for a single person who wants a quick hot savory meal with a decent amount of protein, it's fine. And I give them credit for using organic ingredients. It's good before hitting the gym, seems to digest pretty fast without that sensation of being weighed down. Almost like a protein drink but with extra texture and spices. The capsicum is not insignificant. I almost always sneeze or cough at least once when some of it gets into my windpipe or sinus cavities. But that makes it more interesting. It's a little too expensive to buy often. I can make a protein drink for about $1 and this is more than twice that much. When it was at Aldi's for $1.50 a serving, I bought as much as I could. At $2.30 to $2.50 online, I'll only buy it occasionally.
