Rabbit's Snow Dance

This book came quickly and in great condition. Was such a fun read that allowed us to not only read aloud but “drum” and sing together. We had a few laughs and have read it many times since we purchased. My 6 year old truly enjoys it we bought as a read aloud.

Fun story, maybe a little too fun!!! We checked this out at the library for so long we decided to get our own copy. The rabbit says “I want it, I want it, I want it right now!”... which we learn is not in his favor in the long run... but the moral is less fun than the mantra so you might have a kiddo running around saying that phrase... still the book is so fun and rhythmic and can be read over and over happily - definitely recommend.

I’m a teacher in a state that gets snow, but not much. I read this book to the class and they loved it! They repeated parts of for days after. It is delightful and teaches a good lesson as well.

We were studying Folktales from different Native American Tribes and this book was one of my students' favorites!

Fun story for kids. I added a dance element as an activity at the end and they loved making up dances to the chant in the story.

An enchanting story of a selfish rabbit with the power to make it snow. How he learned about the rhythm of nature and found his way to fit into the spiritual movement of the earth, rather than trying to control it. Very rhythmical, interesting, all our children loved it!

My four kids loved this book. They were singing rabbit`s snow dance for a long time after we read the story.

This is another amazing work by Joseph Bruchac. I teach kindergarten , and my students love it. I have bought it numerous times for nieces, and nephews , and friends children, and everyone loves it.
