Highly Recommended just don't get it in your fingers
I've been using this product for a few months now. I have an elder cat and she's really become incredibly anxious about everything. I didn't want to drug her so I found an alternative method. This works great. I give her 2 packages a day mixed in with food. It smells so HORRIBLE but it works. Word of advice though, do NOT tear it open just get scissors and snip the corner off. If you tear it off then you have a high chance of getting it on your fingers amd I swear this stuff stays on for days no matter how many times you wash them! I do recommend this product though for those babies that need a little extra calm in their life.

Works for our cat
I bought a box of these from our local pet store and they worked for our anxious cat. She's back to her old self. The low star rating is because this box from Amazon was not the same consistency as the one we bought at the store. I've opened about 5 packets so far and the oil is separated from the other ingredients. She licks up the dark stuff but leaves the oily pile in the bowl. The store bought ones were blended together and a thicker consistency.

My cats won't touch it. Wasting tons of money on products.
I do not know how everyone can get their cats to eat it on a treat , water etc because I have 2 cats the older one 7 yrs is so anxiety ridden from the 1 1/2 yr old now turned aggressive ever since 3 months ago when the older one got groomed and came home looking like a lion lol..The 1 1/2 yr old found us last Sept when the vet figured he was 4 months old and we seen a pick up truck parked on side of the road with the cargo light on. My daughter and I were outside and heard a hysterical kitten crying so loud by our mailbox. The poor baby would not of made it much longer and not through a harsh winter in WNY in the snow belts as he was so starved to death.. I have bought so many products based on reviews and going broke from it all.. The only thing he will eat is the soft chews that stink so bad like cod liver oil by pet naturals of VT Calming Supplements, it does not do the trick . We are at our wits end..I bought the Feliway multicat diffuser ,refills, spray and that's not cheap. I bought a concentrated spray Eco balance that looks like Dr. Cocoa for kids which they won't take either lol.. I bought another soft chew that is chicken flavored by NaturVet and the cod liver oil smell is gone and the 1 1/2 yr old won't touch it. The older one won't try a thing he is way too finicky...I give up all I am doing is wasting money on a whole bunch of stuff that's "supposed" to work..Feel lucky if your cats will eat this in food on a treat, water etc.i need a tasteless and odorless product for aggression..Good luck right?

IT WORKS
My cat and I fly at least 3,000 miles a year. Without Zen, she'd be a wreck. With Zen, she is calm and collected, even when going through an crowded airport in her carrier. Yes, she still clings to me and cries at the security checkpoint, but once she's in her carrier, she's fine for hours on end. Zen has worked for her at the groomer, the vet, and during other high-stress situations. The only situation Licks won't touch? Very rough turbulence. Easy to double- or triple-dose. Easy to hide in cat food with a strong smell, such as a fish flavor. Be warned: my cat figured out what Zen does within a few months. That problem is easy to solve; if we're taking a 6 am flight, I dose her at 4 am and skip her dinner the night before.

My cats went crazy for these
I can't say I notices that the product made my cats any less anxious or mellowed them out at all, but I do know they were very excited when they knew they were getting some.

Kind of gross
I’m glad it helped some but it wasn’t very useful for me. The cats continued to fight with each other and they quickly started to turn their noses up at canned food with this product mixed in it. The smell is worse than average cat food-noxious. And it’s sticky and oily and always seems to get on your hands when trying to squeeze it out of the packages. The scent doesn’t come off hands with a single wash. I gave up on it quickly. I guess I gave it two stars since it’s hard to tell if it did anything. Maybe my cats are just spoiled?

Fantastic product that works well. Cats love it.
I have put this in/on my cats treats. I put a handful or two of treats in a cat bowl then empty one or two packets over the treats and mix very thoroughly. Then I give each of 7 cats a tablespoonful. It takes about a half hour to work, but I run a small rescue/sanctuary and the feral neutered males don't always get along. This really toned down the agression and cuts down on occasional territorial marking. I wish it came in larger packages for multiple cat households as it is pricey, but it works so well it's well worth the cost when there are multiple cats coexisting. I like that it is made in USA to stringent standards so I feel comfortable feeding it to my cats. They seem to accept the taste mixed in the treats and would probably accept in their food too. It's a bit oily so directly on the cat would be a bit messy. I have done this and they will lick it off so the taste must be acceptable. A great product.
