I got two of these for less than 1 cost at the big box stores. They are genuine OEM and fit just about any Briggs engine in a riding mower regardless of the “name” on the mower.

Looks like OEM B&S filters, just a bit shorter which I would just assume is a redesign to conserve materials. 3 hours on one now and no problems.

Incomplete packaging.
The two I received did not have the protective plastic cover over the open end and were not in the OEM boxes.
