Q: how does this perform in heat?

Depending on what type of heat. It is a light parfum so it might fad in heat. However, it is a great Parfum and I highly recommend it.

Q: why the utem descriptiin says it's for men?

From the description seen, I would say this product was definitely mislabeled. Other than that, nary a clue as to mislabeling (if definitely that) for this product.

Q: does it smell like Jewel by Alfred Sung?

I have not had the opportunity to smell that one

Q: What are the ingredients? Are their hormones in the “fragrance” ingredient like there are for so many perfumes/colognes?

As a person very interested in perfumery, I can assure you that you can't find hormones in commercially sold fragrances. Please, don't believe this nonsense. Same story about absolutely natural perfumes. They don't exist. I hope this helps :)
