I used this for some sunflowers and carrot seeds. They both spouted quickly and love this coco coir. The bricks were very solid, but after wetting they became nice and fluffy after several minutes. I'd recommend this as an excellent seed starter in any seed starting tray.

I was surprised how big these bricks are. Takes some effort to break them apart but buying this way is definitely more price effective especially if you need larger quantities.

It's a good deal and came well packaged. When soaked it made a good amount, and it works perfect for mixing soil. Didn't have any bad smell or signs of poor quality materials.

Its a good buy for the price but finer than usual. I added compost to the coco coir and used for starting plants for my garden.

I use coco coir as a seed starter. It’s easy to store I until needed and works well for me. I’ve used this product more than once and will continue to do so. I do mix it with perlite to give my young roots a little wiggle room. I get good germination and can hydrate as little or as much as I need for my plants.

Expands nicely and my worms love it.

Arrived quickly in good condition. Perfect for my soil in my raised organic vegetable gardens

I think instructions should be given in more detail. I didn't know how much water to add. I think it really soaked up a lot! The water was brown. I do not know if that was nutrients or what!? I thought I needed to put it on top of the soil but later it seemed smarter to put it in the bottom of the pot or mix it into the soil (?) I don't think it held water for the plant to use when I put it on the top.
