I think this tastes great and it seems to help me sleep. I think this works better than the dissolvable that a much higher dose which I have been using for a year. I am giving 3 starts because the dropper does not have a 1ml line on it so every dose is a guess. It says 20 drops but it does not come out evenly so that is very difficult to count. Because of this I am considering returning and trying a different brand EDITED TO ADD: This melatonin is amazing. I have tried many other brands and this one tops the list. It works so well that I am willing to overlook that the dropper doesn't have measurement lines on it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have purchased it 6 times and now have auto delivery set up. If you use melatonin I highly recommend this brand.

*READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!! IF IT SAYS TO REFRIGERATE, REFRIGERATE! IF IT SAYS NOT TO, DON'T!!* my son is 15 yrs. old and has, amongst other things, ADHD and anxiety. he's been using this brand since about 6 yrs old. like some special needs kids, he has sensory issues. so taste and texture is everything. he already takes other medicine and doesn't like the gummies, melts, or anything else, because of their taste/texture. because he gained weight and we know our bodies can build a tolerance, he needed a higher dose of melatonin. over the years, he's gone from 1mg to about 9mg a night, so 3 doses of this 3mg liquid drops, when we use it. i wish they made this in 5mg liquid drops! needless to say, we tried other brands and WOW.. you'd think melatonin was just that... but NO WAY. this works quicker for him, less than 15 minutes, and doesn't stay in his system like some pill forms of melatonin. the taste is tolerable to him, which is a literal godsent! he's recently had to take his methylphenidate twice a day, and if it's too late in the day, he can't go to sleep. SO BE WARNED, if you take your ADHD-like meds less than 4 to 6 hours before you intend on using this, it may not work AT ALL... as we've found out, no matter WHICH melatonin brand, he'd almost get there, tired eyes and all that, it would fade quickly and he's back to square one, unable to sleep. after waiting about 2 hours (about 5 hours after taking his methylphenidate) it had finally ran it's course, and he was finally able to take the melatonin again and go to sleep. so, about why all melatonin's aren't the same, we HAVE tried several other melatonin's and even the unflavored pills.. some were 5mg or 10mg, some with the 2nd/extended release and some without, and we ran into so many problems. his sleep schedule was uprooted and he wasn't able to get up on time for school. i HIGHLY suggest you test the melatonin a few days before you actually have to use it, especially when you DON'T have any real plans, but still try to fake yourself out and wake up like it was a regular day. since our bodies generally do already produce melatonin, it will be different for everyone. with all of the the 2nd/extended release 5mg AND 10mg pills, my son needed well OVER 10 hours of sleep before he could even attempt to get out of bed. that has only ever happened when he was w/fever and ill. and this was definitely NOT even close to the case, ANY of these times. some liquid melatonin's also may NOT require to be refrigerated, but this KAL 3mg drops do, or at least it has said on the bottles we've had! either way, ALWAYS BE SURE TO CHECK! if it's required, and you don't refrigerate it, it's been shown that it can actually lose some of it's strength, therefore, not working as it's supposed to, which is yet another reason that can also explain why it may not have the same effects for everyone.

We use these drops to help our 6 year old turn Down for bed at night. If we don’t use drops she will talk to herself and sing and keep herself awake for hours so these drops help her to fall asleep easily. I just wish they didn’t have a flavor, because any flavoring is gross

No more arguing over medicine, no more staying up all night, kids love it! Obviously it’s not an every night thing, but we bring it out when they have trouble sleeping and they take it without any issues!!

Buying from a local health food store is better. This was good but didn’t seem to last as long or as potent as buying local. At first it seemed fine. No, I don’t give my 2 and 6 yr old this every night so that’s not the issue.

Flavor had a little aftertaste but was great overall, I fell asleep quickly and had up to 2+ more hours of sleep, this can be pretty easy to swallow, as I added a couple drops to a water bottle and had the same effect
