ProGrip 8' x 1/4" XRT Rope Lock Tie Down (Pack of 2)

Mildly disappointed in that the product shipped was different that that pictured. Light gray housing and mechanism differs slightly. Dont depend on these remaining taut from the time you first snug them down. I used these to secure the bow and stern of my kayaks under towing conditions and ended up losing one of the tie downs from slipping in the mechanism. Be sure to stop after a short time to assure they remain snug and always check them in the middle of a trip. I wanted to love these but they just arent worth a 5 star rating.

I love the simplicity and the quickness of how this tie down works. Because these tie downs are always left in my uncovered bed, the metal pieces have begun to rust.

These tie-downs arrived quickly and seem to be doing well holding my kayaks down in the roof racks. It would be nice if they were a bit longer though.

Works as intended. Good for securing the front and back of a canoe on a vehicle.

These things are great to have in the truck. Use them to secure all types of things. I also use them at the beach to hold tents down and volleyball gear. The rope supplied is ok, cant complain for the money but i have changed some out with high grade marine rope (new england rope).

This item fit the bill -- my brother sets up for shows and has to load in a borrowed truck with an open bed. Keeping everything secured was a challenge, but these tie downs make it much easier. Delivered promptly and work perfectly.

Great tie downs. I use them for my kayaks and couldn't be happier. Only time will tell if they last, but right now they are functioning 100% as expected and needed.
