LM100 Laser DIstance Meter

Received today but will update as goes on and I take it on site. First impressions good for the price. Testing around the house up to 10m and the accuracy seams very good for just quick ruff measurements that you would take on a quote or survey. Durability I would say the button print might ware off quickly as they are cheep but at this price point that's ok. The wrist cord was actually hard to put in as the plastic hole but a paper clip soon sorted that. Feels sturdy not dropped it yet. I have used inside and out but not in bright mid-day light. The red indicator was visable inside and out but this was only at 10m, what it would be like at 100m I will have to find out. Battery life too early to tell.

First time I have used a laser device instead of a tape measure and I'm hooked !! Make sure that you calibrate this device - I found out of the box it was 2mm out over the 4M range I tested. Calibration is a little fiddly but instructions are on a leaflet. I assume this will need to be done on a battery change. I have used this little device outdoors over ranges up to 30M by making a target reflector. I found it almost impossible to use during the day (even on a grey day in England), but when the sun has gone down the laser dot can easily be seen to seek out your reflector..

Got this on special price 100m of £23.99, price has now doubled!! Arrived quickly packaged well, like the handle and case will e very very useful for measuring sheds etc. Very accurate and easy to use. Price has now doubled so I think I got a bargain.

Premesso che è il mio primo misuratore laser, quindi, non potendo fare confronti, il mio giudizio è sicuramente influenzato da questo, ma sinceramente non trovo difetti apprezzabili, se non quello (che indicano un po' tutti) che all'esterno di giorno è difficile da utilizzare perché a distanza la luce del laser non è visibile. Ma considerando che a me serve principalmente per misurare vani all'interno di appartamenti, direi che questo limite non per me è fondamentale. Precisione direi ottima. Ovvero non ho potuto fare confronti con strumentazione da laboratorio, ma mi basta constatare che ripetendo misurazioni in stessi posti, la misura è identica al netto di un digit +/- ovvero un millimetro. Altra caratteristica convincente è la qualità costruttiva, che mi ha assolutamente convinto. Plastica di qualità, molto rifinito che ne fa percepire una certa qualità intrinseca. Non immediatissima la comprensione, ma il manualetto è anche in Italiano (ovviamente con traduzione automatica tipica di google) e dopo poche prove, se ne ha la massima conoscenza. Comodo il calcolo automatico di superfici e volumi, che fa risparmiare l'uso della calcolatrice. Apprezzabile la presenza delle due "bolle" che permettono di tenerlo facilmente in piano. Assolutamente consigliabile per interni, rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile.
