Wow, where to begin. I've always had an enormous amount of respect for Miley ever since she came over for the Manchester One Love concert in 2017 (I was born about 7 miles from Manchester city centre). However I always thought of her as someone whose target market was teenage girls - well I got that one wrong didn't I. One of the suggestions that popped up when I was music surfing Youtube was Miley's cover of Heart of Glass and although I wasn't expecting anything special I decided to give it a try, WOW within 30 seconds I was hooked and about 20 minutes later having heard her live cover of Zombie plus a number of her 'own' tracks from the album I had been reeled in, landed, filleted and was sizzling away nicely in the pan ready for someone's supper. This is seriously great music by a seriously great artist, the CD has been played in full at least once every day since I bought it, it is easily my favourite album ever and I now consider the first stage of my Mileyfication complete, my advice: BUY, BUY, BUY and PLAY,PLAY,PLAY.

This is a great album. Be aware though if buying for a present, be sure the recipient is not offended by Highly colorful language.

This is a great comeback by Miley and one of her best releases to date, she really embraces this 80s rock pop sound and sounds very comfortable. At times I prefer the more country leaning music from her last album but I can't deny that she sounds more at home here. It is by no means a perfect album but like much of her work she does a good job of embedding a personal emotional touch into each song while keeping it pop friendly and likeable. The collaborations are generally welcome and appropriate, giving the album that bit extra. The song Prisoner with Dua Lipa sounds more like a song of Dua's last album but it is catchy and fun. The song with Joan Jett stumbles a bit and is one of the weaker songs, not really staying in the memory long. Far better is the song Night Crawling with Billy Idol. This song has an interesting sound and is a rollicking good time. The main single Midnight Sky is pure pop perfection: shiny, shimmering and smooth it doesn't get much better than this. The first track WTF Do I Know is one of the loudest and most enjoyable songs here, it really embraces shouty rock and kicks off the album with style. Some of the deeper cuts display weaknesses and perhaps show a lack of depth in the overall album such as Gimme What I Want and Hate Me. They don't really have the same impact as the stronger songs and don't embrace the core sound in the same way, it's slightly more muddled, like songs from other albums added to this album. However, these songs are still a lot of fun and hardly break the flow of the album. So the album as a whole largely papers over these cracks. Two covers and a remix with Stevie Nicks linger at the end of the album and totally justify themselves. A good relaxed way to extend the album. Golden G String is a pleasant slow song that ends the main core of the album effectively with interesting lyrics. My favourite songs are the more emotional moments. Miley is very effective at integrating personal feelings into music and she does this to great effect here. The song Angels Like You is perhaps the standout track here, a heart wrenching ballad with a killer chorus that totally nails the 80s rock sound. Her vocals are outstanding and I love the subtle instrumentation. Big pop songs with deep emotional hearts are always the best and this song is a perfect example of that. Just as good is Never Be Me which is quieter but has maybe even more emotional baggage giving the song great impact. Heart breaking and beautiful. The song High has also grown on me: it's simple and old school but I love how her voice soars. Overall, this is a great album from Miley and easily one of her best despite its flaws. I hope she continues to surprise and remains a music chameleon. One of the most refreshing albums of 2020, bravo!

I'm really happy I bought this. I'm not a fan of Miley's previous music, but I'm loving her newer releases and covers. This is a really good showcase of her natural singing talent and blends her ability to sing pop, rock and country styles with ease. I'm looking forward to what this woman will do in the future and if this album is anything to go by, she has the potential for a long career ahead. As for the vinyl printing itself, the quality of the pressing is excellent. No surface noise and clean crisp sound. Well worth the price point and an album I've been playing frequently since purchase.

Really like the direction that Miley is taking her music. My daughter loved her as Hannah Montana but the more mature Cyrus sound is more to my taste. Bought purely because I love the track ‘Midnight Sky’ however, rest of album does not disappoint

Great album. Great price. I bought this to supplement the double vinyl I have, so that I can play it on my portable CD player in the kitchen (I do this a lot with my favourite music). Arrived quickly and safely. Absolutely no complaints. Thank you!
