This is a decent soldering gun. I like the fact it auto feeds based on how hard you pull the trigger. The wire tube was not exactly lined up with the hot tip so I had to bend it in to place but it's a cheap gun and does what's needed. You get what you pay for so don't expect anything amazing but it does the job.Packaged nicely and came with everything advertised.

This thing is brilliant, especially if you are like me and have only 2 hands. I bought another model before, the more traditional looking one, didn’t like it as much, and it broke anyway. Which brings me to my only issue with these - if only these were made from sturdier plastics, with slightly tighter tolerances... but hey, for thé money, nothing comes close

The solder feeds and loads as intended which is great because other brands I've tried had problems. Heats up fairly quick, the tip is fine. I put a dab of hot glue to keep it on. I kept hitting it off because of its location when using. The solder provided is kind of useless. Just rolls of everything and is cloudy.If it last awhile with normal use, I would buy another, its worth it.

Great product for the price. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Purchased one about 6 months ago, different brand, and it didn't last more than a few months. Bought this as a replacement and am very happy!

I think this was a great buy! I love the ease of use. I'm still having trouble with application. For some reason, it will not adhere to the wiring and there's no instructions, telling you how to apply it. Also the solder is instantly hard once it's dispensed from the gun. Overall if you have more than a novice level of knowledge soldering, than this tool will come in very handy!

I have very little experience soldering, but I used this soldering gun to successfully replace around 40 tact switches on an old DX7 synthesizer. It took a little practice to get the hang of it, but it was relatively easy to use. The desoldering pump was also very useful for removing the old switches.

Great tool for the price, heats up quickly and allows one handed soldering with ease freeing up your other hand. Sometimes the solder doesn't feed but it just takes a second to get it going again

Design works fairly well in theory, but the tip is plastic, and the pipe is just short enough to allow the solder to do everything in it's power to avoid getting to the tip (defeating the feeding feature), so in practice I would view this as just another soldering iron. For $20, this is okay, but be warned that you can easily find something (of different design, but with the same purpose) for $10.It comes with round tip.
