500 PCS #7 Coin Envelopes, 3.5 x 6.5 inches Brown Kraft Envelopes Classic Small Parts Envelopes with Self Adhesive Gummed Flap for Coins, Cash, Credit Cards, Seeds

I bought these envelopes for seed storage. They are the same width as standard seed envelopes and they are 1” longer in height. They are consistently gummed across the width of the top of the flap and seal well after moistening. The sides under the flap extend all the way to the base of the flap, which helps to secure seeds inside the closed envelope. For extra security, especially for small seeds, the flap can be folded down again and secured with a piece of tape. This results in an envelope the same size as standard seed envelopes, which is helpful for seed envelope organization. The paper weight of the envelope is very satisfactory for my purpose. The envelopes come rubber-banded in tidy bundles inside of a sturdy box that can be re-closed easily. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

There are not 500 envelopes per box as it is advertised as I found boxes to be 20 or more short of 500 when printing them for a customer! The picture is misleading showing the flap open and closed because the envelopes come with the flaps open! I have worked in printing service for 40 years and never received a box of envelopes with flaps open! When you try to print these envelopes, you either have to close the flaps on them first or be prepared for many jam ups as the bottom flap hangs up because it is not sealed good! I have used a number of different types of offset printing presses in my 40 years of experience as well as many types of inkjet, laser, and digital printers and copy machines! This purchase was absolutely the pits!

I ordered these envelopes for two reasons; The first is for collecting and saving the seeds I get from my garden. I can write on the envelope all the pertinent information and safely store the seeds till needed. The second reason I bought these is for organizing several old coins I inherited from a family member. I plan to put a coin in an envelope, research the information, then write on the outside what I know about it (i.e. date and value).

Comparison shopped this type of envelope to store SD cards and other small pieces in plus being able to individually label each one. This batch (at the time I checked) proved to be the most for less. They are properly made, sturdy and easily labeled. Since I move the contents in and out, I do not use the gummed flap to close them. Rather I slide a peper clip across the back. I use varied colors for the clips providing additional and faster indexing of contents by type.

I had been looking for these envelopes for days. I traveled to 6 different stores and still couldn’t find these. I looked on line and found these for a great price. These are used for a lot of different things, the right size to place money for children to take to school. Happy with my purchase.

I bought these to use for storing small clock parts during renovation. They work perfectly, plenty of room for parts and large area for writing out the description of the contents. Fast shipping and good follow up from the merchant.

Nice envelopes with thick paper and good adhesive. I have not had any yet that didn’t stick. These have the glue you have to moisten then seal. It’s NOT a reusable adhesive where you can open the envelope again and again or a peal-n-stick where you don’t have to lick it. Just be aware of that. But they seem well made. I think you will like them as much as I do.

I really like these coin envelopes as they turned out to be perfect for what I am using them for. The price was great in my opinion and I look forward to ordering more in the future.
