Works great and is a great value, simple to use!
I tried several other quick disconnects and none of them worked the way I wanted them to. I installed both of these today and they fit and function perfectly! I am very happy with the functionality, and the quality of construction of this product. This will fit both 3/8” and 5/16” fuel line.

Exactly what I needed
I was planning to pick up a couple of spare gas tanks for my boat (Neptune 6-gal 08592), and needed these fittings as well (which are application-specific and sold separately). I bought two of these connectors, but ended up only getting one tank. The male fitting was easy to install on the tank, which I now use on my boat. I am keeping the second connector set as a spare. The connector comes as a two-piece set: a 1/4 NPT male screw-in connector for the tank and a female barbed connector for 3/8 and 5/16 fuel lines. I did not need to use the female connector (I already have a fuel line connected to my motor), but it is nice to have the parts in case repairs need to be made.

Works great and does not leak, I would buy again. Does not spash gas when disconnecting from tank. Gas does not get all over. These would also be great if using multiple fuel tanks to make a quick connect for each tank. Good for generators or boats. The threads came with a fuel sealant pre applied which is also a plus if you dont have any. I would buy again.

I bought these hoping it would help with easy connection for my outboard fuel tank and hose connection. I used plumbers tape to seal the connectors for tank and outboard and I absolutely love the results. Easy on and off of my gas tank. Excellent price for an excellent product.

Shocked that only Amazon offers this here in Sweden but a must for any boater using a portable gas tank. No leaks, air tight, and quick and easy removal from the tank to the fuel line for refilling. Super pleased to finally be able to get one here and nit be forced to order from overseas.

This is perfect for sharing portable marine gas tanks with a few different motors. I own both Mercury and OMC portable motors and this negates the need to have separate gas tanks for the various hose fittings unique to each motor. This connector with a couple of extra female connectors added to my three different fuel lines allows for an easy connection and sharing of a single fuel tank.
