These sensors have been completely reliable in the five months I've had them. I've had a freezer door accidently left open by a kid before, which spoiled all of the food inside, wasting hundreds of dollars. With these affordable temp sensors, I have strong peace of mind knowing that I'll be alerted if something like that were to happen again! Battery life seems good so far. One of them appears full and the other close to it, so I believe them on their long battery life claims. They don't use some obscure battery size either, so that's nice. I use mine with the Home Assistant integration, which seems to be well supported. Being able to send customized notifications, toggle lights, or make smart home announcements based on these (and other YoLink) sensors is a major plus to me. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I'm not all-in on the YoLink system yet because I prefer to use Z-Wave/Zigbee for most things, but these seem to be a reliable alternative that is quite a bit cheaper, easier to pair, and has better battery life, while still not using WiFi for communication. The whole package is definitely enough to get me interested in investing more in their system.

In my experience the YoLink Temperature and Humidity Sensors have been an extremely easy to install and configure and a very reliable product. I purchased my first three sensors at my home in Canada to monitor my deep freeze, my refrigerator and my kitchen air temperature and humidity. I installed them 2025-06-10 and as of today 2025-10-13 they have been in service for 4 mon 3 days. I used Amazon Basics Alkaline batteries and after 4 months all are at 100% charge! The product interface is extremely intuitive and the product provides a plethora of data with the option to download MS Excel or CSV history files for the past three months. The station hub is the "control center and brains" of the service through and to which the sensors communicate to the hub and to the internet. I now added my USA condo to its own hub with three sensors for deep freeze, refrigerator and family room and it is all configured under a second home in the YoLink software. It's EXACTLY the product I wanted and it lacks nothing. It's been designed beautifully and the product itself is flawless and an engineering work of quality. This is an exceptionally intuitive, capable, flexible and reliable product. It should be in your toolkit for home automation for properties outside your driving range. An exceptional product and as a design engineer myself, It's well done, especially for the extremely reasonable price.

I bought it because of the promise of longer range LoRa wireless connectivity back to the hub have the ability to check on temperature conditions from my iPhone anywhere. I also like the fact that no monthly fees. Easy to install and works great.

This is an excellent temperature sensor! I have been using 2 of them, one in my fridge and another in the freezer, for 9 months without fail. They never go down, provide consistent measurements, and function flawlessly. There are no problems with communications between the sensors and the hub, even if the sensors are inside the fridge, which is 40 ft from the hub. The battery is still going strong after 9 months. The product is of high quality, the software (iPhone app) works well, and the manuals are well-written and clear. This is a superior outfit run by people who know what they are doing. I highly recommend their products.

Works well! After we had a few fridge doors left open and lost food, we needed a solution to notify us when there was a door ajar. Would be perfect if the app sent notifications to my phone rather than just an email. Otherwise, definitely a great purchase and would rebuy! Already ordered more for my other fridge.

These temperature and humidity sensors are amazing. I've had one in my deep freezer for a year and never had a problem with it. I can probably go another year before having to change batteries. I even have a sensor in my detached garage so I can get an idea of the temperature outside. Neither sensor has ever disconnected from the hub...not even 1 time in a whole year! Thats unheard of these days with all of the wireless stuff we use throughout our day! The sensors and hub were very simple to setup. After everything was linked. I was able to start setting up the app and my preferences...sensors named...high temp alarms set...etc. The alarms come as emails. You can even see the history of all the data. Honestly, this was the best purchases I made to ensure I don't end up with a freezer full of rotten meat. Excellent product...well worth the money!!!

We’ve been using the YoLink for about 6 months now. We’ve found it excellent. It was very easy to set up. We have a small apartment as a second home so aren’t here for sometimes many weeks at a time. We have one sensor in the little living room and one in the fridge. It’s very useful to monitor temps when away and know that the HVAC and fridge are maintaining proper temps.

Works exactly as described and has saved us at least once. Well worth the money for some peace of mind, especially with kids going in and out of the freezer. Easy to use app and simple interface.

Grundsätzlich funktioniert das Produkt sicher gut aber das Problem ist das es aus Amerika kommt und über den US Server läuft. Zusätzliche Geräte bekommt man nur sehr schwer über die Amerikanische Seite und dort wuchern die Preise wegen des Versandes + Zollgebühren. Ein anderer Anbieter aus England auf Amazon hat nur Sensor ohne Hub verkauft, hab den dann aber nicht mit diesen Hub verbinden können, da der Sensor Plötzlich eine andere Typennummer hatte, und der dann auf dem EU Server laufen sollte. Für EU habe ich aber keinen anderen Anbieter mehr gefunden und schließlich alles wieder zurück geschickt.

Excellent quality hardware, well packaged upon opening. Hub and sensors both seem solid, not cheaply made and great quality. Setup was very easy, less than 5 minutes. Recommended setup is to hardwire hub by ethernet cable to router or your home hub. Connected within 10 seconds. Lights easy to see for power and internet connection. Using smartphone to scan QR code simple and identified hub immediately. App on phone allowed hub to be assigned to a room. App simple to use and I linked the Yolink app to my Google Home without difficulty. Temperature sensors also worked right away, no issues with identification of product using QR code on devices. Converted from Farenheit to Celcius easily. Temperature readings instantly and calibrated perfectly to temperature measured by another device. Easy to set up warning temperature alerts and both unlimited email and limited SMS texting alerts (20/month) included as part of product purchase.

The hub is an absolute pig to set up but once you have done then it’s a great piece of kit for ensuring that I’m notified if the freezer out in the garage fails. I’m using the other sensor to keep an eye on the temperature in the freezer in the house. * important to note that it will initially tell you that no internet has been found - just ignore it and carry on with the set up*

3 Temp sensors installed, 2 in freezers and 1 in fridge ,set temp limits, set alarm low/ high, hey presto alarm speaks through hub + app notification, lora much better than WiFi. Best thing purchased for a long time. 😃
