This thing's a little hard to line up, but once you do - it's great to watch. Mesmerizing, the way it just floats & slowly turns. The light isn't bright enough to be annoying, and the color choices are nice. The yellow-ish color worked great during the holidays, and the pure white was pretty crisp when you're in that mood. Keep it away from anything damaged by magnetic fields though, like legacy hard drives, floppy disks, or nanobots - just saying.

The media could not be loaded.  This thing is fantastic. Yes, difficult to levitate at first but you will get it.Set the moon on the base so it latches on. Then with two hands, slide it to center point. You will feel the magnetic force push it upwards and boom, you are in business

I like this novelty gift and not only does it look great in my office, it looks great to my coworkers as well. There are a few flaws:- It is difficult to levitate properly. No surprise there given how it works, thought it would be nice if there was an accessory to help levitate the globe.- The 'fade' and 'smooth' button does not feature the white color for the slideshow. Flash and strobe do.- The buttons have confusing names, except for 'fade'. 'Fade' smoothly changes colors. 'Flash' abruptly changes colors roughly 1.5 seconds. 'Strobe' abruptly changes colors roughly every 3 seconds. 'Smooth' rapidly flashes the globe and changes color roughly every 2 seconds. The buttons need better names.- The globe will not stop rotating when powered off via the remote or the power button on the base. I wish it would to reduce energy consumption.Some suggestions include more colors, a feature to raise/lower levitation, more yellow hues to reflect the moon's typical appearance, and options to light only half or a quarter of the moon.If an improved version of this product was offered or a good discount on the product is offered, I may consider buying it as a gift. I'm happy with my purchase and hope I never need to buy another.

Took me awhile to set up following the directions. The method of holding 6" above and slowly lowering towards the base did not work. For me holding the moon with 2 hands at the base and slowly parting your hands away and feeling the magnetic force positioning the moon about a half inch above the base. Lighting is perfect but scares you when you lose power and sticks to the base.

I bought two of this and one of them fails all the time. It's impossible to get in the right position and once you can get it the ball falls over the base.I would like to get of replacement of this one. The other one works well.

The media could not be loaded.  So first let me just say this. This is my wife's favorite gift this year! It took a little bit to get it positioned properly but it didnt take longer than 4 minutes to figure it out. Well worth the price for a fan of mooning!

The spin rate is slower than a similar one which makes it look nicer and the color changes look great. As a night light it's subtle enough to fall asleep while it's on but bright enough to help avoid toe smashing when getting up. It looks great day and night,

While the floating moon is really cool, and quite lovely to look at, it does not have an automatic timer, and when you unplug it (ie: connect it to an automatic timer plug line what you'd plug your Christmas tree lights into), the moon loses all magnetic forces levitating it in place, and gets sucked down to a random corner (where it's polar opposite magnets are) of the base.So basically you have to turn it on and off manually. It looks fantastic, but I was hoping to be able to put this on a timer. I still recommend it, but know what your getting and this is why I cannot give it 5 stars, unfortunately.

Love this lamp! The lamp light has two solid colours white and yellow and a third option that changes gradually from white to pink to yellow. The moon does not have to be lit and can be turned off quite easily with a touch of the base. The moon did take a few tries to make it float but you become an expert after watching a few videos on YouTube. Customer service is amazing, if you have any issues with the device reach out they will attend to your needs. I keep the the device on all the time and light up the moon only at night. I feel this was an amazing purchase and it would make an awesome gift.

The idea seems great and so does the build quality - the stand feels nice and the 3D printing on the Moon is also decent.The issue is the fact that this thing simply doesn't work. I see a lot of comments under thing product is people saying they can't get the Moon to levitate. After some practice I was able to do it pretty consistently but there were still two issues:- The stand would get really hot. Like really, really hot. Burning hot to the touch. There's no way that's ok?- The Moon would levitate (and spin if I added some spin) nice but then just randomly plop down with a loud thump after like two minutes every single time with no exception.Great idea, looks amazing in the dark - terrible quality control. For this money I would expect this to work flawlessly. Item returned.

I really like this lamp. It adds the perfect soft glow to my room. I enjoy the detail added to the moon and the levitation is cool. It is a little tricky to get floating but once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy!

Took quite awhile to levitate, need patience. Totally worth the frustration.I have to give it a little hand to start spinning but then it does keep spinning (maybe the surface isn’t perfectly flat, not sure)
