5 stars but… you must by the syringes
Okay. These things are amazing. Mesmerizing. Beautiful. BUT it will need to be tinkered with before it works.1. But the sand art blunt syringe kit. Dispense-All. All-purpose industrial syringe kit. With 3 gauge sizes.2. There will either be too little air (sand fall instantly in a flat line) or too much air (sand never moves.3. There are two small holes on the border. Find a YouTube video for details but you insert the syringe into the hole. You have to maneuver is a little until you can see the syringe in the glass. Then add a little air at a time. Test. Wait a few minutes. Add air if needed… repeat. When I got mine there was too little air and the sand fell in a flat line. I added air 2x and now it’s a beautiful dream.Good buy but must get syringe and prep before if it’s a gift.

Beautiful and soothing
The media could not be loaded. It's the perfect size for my desk at work. It took me a few minutes to get the right amount of bubbles because I didn't shake hard enough but when I did get it, it made beautiful dunes. After all the sand falls, don't flip it directly upside down, turn it at an angle for it to work best and to get those pretty hills. The first photo is the end of the sand falling, the second is after I flipped is at an angle.

Somewhat works but still love it
The media could not be loaded. I will say it was wrapped in a lot of foam and arrived in tact. It doesn’t quite work like I wanted. The sand often falls super quick but I read that can be solved by removing or adding bubbles. That’s not my jam. I want something to work as designed right from jump street. We did align the super duper small holes on the sides and got the mountainscape twice (out of a billion tries 😂). With that said, it’s still pretty cool and my grandson absolutely freakin loves this thing. He sat and turned it for almost an hour and wants to play with it all the time.So looks 👀 like I will be buying more and can’t wait to start a collection of awesome colors.

Grrat gift for Aesthetic lovers
I love how pleasing and calming this is. It's fun and good for fidgeting. It's made from good materials doesn't feel like it's gonna break in my hand. And I love that there is just enough air that sometimes the bubbles cause a double mountain look. This was a great buy! Would make a perfect gift for someone with a desk!

Dry sand makes for a lackluster experience
Feels cheap and looks cheap. The sand at the top appears dry and there is zero movement of it. Some sand does fall, incredibly slowly, but just the white sand. The dark sand stays stuck and no soothing patterns emerge because of that. You get what you pay for. I'm getting a refund. Maybe I got a lemon but I can not recommend this. Glad I did not give this as a gift, as I intended, because I'd be embarrassed.

Difficult to get consistent results
I've been fiddlin' with this for over 10 hrs and still can't get consistent results. I've been adjusting the amount of air, but that's not the whole story. With the same volume of air, I can get it to dump instantly or not move at all, it's dependent on the size of the bubbles and how they're distributed. If I shake it vigorously and make lots of small bubbles, I can get it to completely stop the sand flow by evenly distributing them across the bottom of the sand. If they are larger bubbles, with the same volume of air, it's hard to completely block the entire bottom of the sand line and the sand falls really quickly, eventually just dumping. It's also important to start w/ the sand on the bottom with an perfectly straight top. If not, the part that is projecting will just breach the bubbles and dump. I think the fact that it's 12" makes it harder to get the bubbles evenly distributed evenly across the bottom of the sand line. Maybe a smaller one would be easier?

By far the best moving sand display I have bought
Over the past month, I have purchased numerous moving sand picture frames, both round and rectangle, from various vendors. Some of them are good and some are not so good, either due to far too much air or poorly selected sand variations. This one is, however, exceptional. The amount of air bubbles is just enough to cause nice designs and yet little enough that it does not get stuck with most of the sand at the top. It also has s very nice stand that holds it rather well. The subtle differences of the makeup of the different sand colors (some more dense, some finer, etc) helps make the flow even more interesting and unique each time.I would highly recommend this specific model over others (at least others that I have bought - have not bought every variety on Amazon, of course)

Billigware
Das Sandbild läuft nur bis zur Hälfte dann bleibt es stehen. Mann muss jedesmal das Bild bewegen das es weiter rieselt, schade. Absoluter Fehlkauf

I love this!
I had something similar years ago and always wanted another. And now I found this, so calming watching the sand make new pictures when you turn it.
