Actors Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon embark on multiple road trips through Europe including the UK, Italy, Spain, and Greece, sampling the restaurants, eateries, and sights along the way.As the brilliant comic duo, freestyling with flair, drive each other mad with constant competition and showdowns of competing impressions of famous celebrities, Coogan and Brydon create a brilliantly comic rumination on the nuances of friendship and the juggling of family and career.

More Road Trip HILARITY with Steve Coogan
I love ALL of the "trip" movies with these guys. Steve Coogan makes me laugh just talking like Michael Caine or whoever for as long as he wants to onscreen. If you enjoy silly Brits driving around and passively insulting each other for 90 minutes, this movie (and the other "trip" flicks) will reliably entertain you. Enjoy!

Excellent
Very funny movies. Good combo having all 4 in 1 package. Their riffing is very funny. I’ve seen them at least 4 times and it just gets funnier and more poignant with time.

Intelligent and Heaps of Fun
Although the first in the series is not the best , by far, it was good enough to make me want to watch the whole series; and it just gets better and better. The conversations are witty, hilarious, thoughtful and intelligent. The scenery is stunning, and the food is mouth-watering. This series could not have been successful without the these two clever actors, who make driving in a car and eating food the most exciting thing you've ever seen!

Have Not Laughed This Hard Since Covid Began!
Thanks to a great review of "A Trip To Greece" in the Washington Post, I stumbled upon this series. Lucky for me, the series had just been released in this collection. I ordered one immediately. The scenery, food, etc. in each film are wonderful to view, but they are all secondary attractions. What makes this series is the repartee between Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. First, we all have a friendship or two like theirs. We may not see the other often, but the years have lain the foundations for lots of private jokes and experiences to build upon. These films are like being invisible companions on a trip between two old friends who also happen to be incredibly witty, educated, talented, full of shrewd observations and most of all, absolutely hilarious! The films are definitely a build and I do recommend they are viewed in order.Upon looking up these films individually, I found lots of bad reviews which were unfortunate. From many of them, I gathered the viewers were expecting some type of destination travelogues. While simply due to the premise of the films there are aspects of these, but that's where travelogue expectations/comparisons need to end. These films are about the running dialog between the actors, with the locations and repasts being merely props for them to remark upon and react to.I have watched each at least twice since I got the set. This is necessary to catch all of the conversations and the laughs. I have enjoyed each and every viewing immensely. The exchange about the kumquat in "A Trip of Italy" has brought me to tears each time I have seen it! There are many other exchanges which do the same. I mean, the idea of two grown men being stuck in a car on a road trip with only Alanis Morrisette's "Jagged Little Pill" cd as their only music option is by itself pretty funny! The conversations which sprang from this dilemma are even better. If you want to watch a picturesque travelogue of lovely destinations, I am sure there are many to choose from. However, if you want to be highly entertained by two very talented and witty Brits who happen to be traveling though some incredible locations, these films are the ticket!
