Fantastic so Far
These JLAB ANC earbud are fantastic so far. I've had them for about 6 months now and as my first pair of wireless earbuds and my first set of Active Noise Cancellation of any sort they are fantastic. I've wanted an active noise cancellation headset or earbuds for quite a while and finally jumped into the pool. There are dozens of options that provide a wide range of price points and consumer ratings. I read a lot of reviews and settled on these from JLAB and I am glad I did.I get very reasonable noise cancellation. They won't completely block out a lawn mower or a crying baby on an airplane but will make those sounds tolerable. When I cut the grass, I wear the earbuds and a cheap pair of over the ear sound protectors and get great results. I have tested the $200+ noise cancelling headsets but only in the store and I think these perform very nearly as well for an affordable price. As they are my first earbuds of any kind, I can only say that they stay put. The memory foam tips come in 3 sizes and are comfortable. I can't say if they are heavy or light. I can tell that I am wearing them for sure but they do not grow bothersome or painful after several hours of continuous use. I've gone 4 or 5 hours with them in and found no discomfort. That leads to battery life. Advertised as 10 hour capacity, I can't see ever wearing them that long at a stretch. My longest session was about 7 hours. I think I have heard the "low battery" alert just one time. Between uses, I pop the earbuds back into the carrying case (included with the earbuds) and that tops up the earbud charge. So, it is difficult to say just how long a single charge will last. I carry the case in my jeans pocket or a day pack to use the earbuds several times a day totaling maybe 3 or 4 hours per day. The LED lights on the case let you know charge lever remaining and I pop them into a USB port on a laptop or wall when I see the LED dots drop a light or two. That isn't test to failure kind of report but is what I get with my normal use.My only regret is that I didn't look to see if they are offered in colors other than black. I have left them laying on a counter or bedside table and the dark color can make them difficult to find. But then they aren't white or some other stand-out color when I am wearing them. I guess it is a fair tradeoff and I will take the look when I am wearing them.I don't recall just what I paid for the earbuds here on Amazon.com but I think it was in the $50 neighborhood. I am very pleased with the performance, durability and functionality for that price point. I could afford the higher price for the big-name earbuds but can't see why I need to. They certainly offer style points if that is your goal. I prefer very good sound quality, battery life, water resistance and the rest while keeping an extra $100 in my pocket. That fits nicely alongside the JLAB charging case that comes with the earbuds.

Absolutely smashing deal for the price!
I bought these earbuds a little over 2 years ago for around $50, and I can say without a doubt these are an absolute steal even at full retail price which is $70. For $50, these have really good sound quality with excellent noise cancelling. I do have one issue with them though. My biggest problem with these earbuds is that they stick out a good bit past the inside of my ears and seem to have a fair bit of weight in that part of the earbud. This results in them slowly pulling themselves downward and eventually falling out of my ear. I believe the provided winglets are meant to help fix this issue, however the mating surfaces for these winglets (These surfaces are glossy rubber and smooth plastic) do not provide enough grip for them, causing the earbud to just slip off and leave the winglet behind in my ear. These issues are partially due to my left ear being kind of oddly shaped, and I experience similar issues with a lot of other earbuds, plus everybody's ears are shaped different, so take the fitment issues with a grain of salt. Other than the fitment issues, these earbuds are great, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering them!

Lots of static/white noise, weird customer service
Before I start, I'd like to say I have returned my purchase and I have not gotten a replacement. Details in the below review:I purchased these as I got tired of playing around with wires with my current wired earbuds and I saw good reviews by many reviewers.Comfort:At first, it was okay. They fit nice and the passive noise isolation was decent. After a while, however, they started getting a bit heavy, and because I have small ears, it started to hurt because the big chungus drivers were hitting the inside of my ears pretty tightly. Not sure if they'll be recommended for long term use. They do however stay in once you put them in. I've done simple workouts like pushups, situps, etc. but they stayed in place. Have not run in them.Audio quality:Audio quality was better than I thought, but in hindsight, I'm not sure I think that anymore considering the price. I currently daily the Sound Magic E50S earbuds and Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones and I will be using these as benchmarks - both around the same price (cheaper) and decent low-mid range headphones. Both of these have a very flat frequency response because I produce some music as a hobby and enjoy being able to hear all sounds evenly. Compared to these two, they have a bit more bass and the treble drops off sooner. The sounds are mushier than my current headphones but they were OK.Mic quality is laughable, from my experience, and doesn't always pick up your voice.Noise cancellation:These were my first experience with ANC and honestly I did not expect much. First thing that scared me was that a lady screams "ANC ON," "ANC OFF," and "BE AWARE" in your ears at loud volume regardless of your playback volume. You can tell which mode you're in when listening so I don't think that feature is necessary. ANC off is default which is annoying because you have to cycle through be aware and loud lady every time you want to take it out of the charging case into ANC on.For the cancellation quality itself, I think it's OK. I don't hear any EXTERIOR noise (more on that in the "Issue" paragraph) and it felt weird smacking my wooden desk and sounding like I was smacking concrete. Although they tend to make music/playback quieter with this mode on, the noise cancellation itself works quite well.Be aware cranks exterior sound and blasts it over the music and amplifies any noise that the earbuds are making as well. There is a slight latency between actual sound and what is played so it may be trippy. I personally don't see a use for that considering the horrible quality.Battery:This is the only plus for me. I think they last more than advertised - about 12 hours, albeit I do mostly listen at low volumes. The charging is quite quick with the case, and the case itself charges pretty quick as well. I think the integrated USB cable was very convenient and nice too as I don't have to worry about carrying a separate cord and the connection breaking or being damaged.Issue:One big issue I had was a constant static/white noise, regardless of ANC status. With ANC on and no music playing, you can't hear anything other than the static. With ANC off, you can hear the static. With be aware, the static is blasted into your brains. It's a constant static at constant pitch and volume. I often use headphones at low volume so this was very noticeable. I also tried the 40 hour burn-in, but it did not help (Why doesn't JLab do this from factory??).Wondering if this was a manufacturing defect, I contacted JLab to see if they can maybe find a solution or send me a replacement... They did neither - they told me to destroy them, send them a pic of the products destroyed, and they'll give me virtual money (exclusive store credit equivalent to the value of the product). Absolutely not :) I immediately issued a refund on Amazon and sent these back! Dumbest customer service I have experienced so far. Here's the email quoted verbatim for those who are curious:"All JLab Audio products come with a 2 year limited warranty that we fully honor and stand behind! A receipt or proof of purchase is required in order to take advantage of the 2-year warranty.*IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THE US, PLEASE LET US KNOW AS WE HAVE A SEPARATE PROCESS FOR INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS.*Before you jump to send us back your headphones, please instead, send us a picture of the equipment physically destroyed and rendered inoperable (you will need to physically destroy both Earbuds and Charging Case or Headphones and send pic) When we receive your proof of disposal, if viable, we will issue you a store credit for the value of your item as currently listed on our site. This option is being offered as a courtesy in lieu of sending your item to us for inspection, which is our normal warranty process. We will require a picture of the item destroyed regardless of the actual issue.*PLEASE DO NOT THROW AWAY CONTENTS UNTIL THE CLAIM IS COMPLETE*Once your picture is received and processed by our Returns Department, our store credit system then will provide a code for the full price of this product as sold by JLabAudio.com.This provides the option to receive a replacement of your current product by using the code or to choose any other awesome JLab Audio product using the store credit."TL;DR - I can't really recommend them for audiophiles or for people who are picky with subtle sounds as you will go crazy. If you are able to tune out some noise and just want some wireless headphones, they're fine, but honestly you can find some with maybe even better overall quality for cheaper.
