These were great to use when I was in nursing school.

So Helpful!!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I was starting Med-Surg 1 and it turned out to be very explanatory and easy to remember! I showed some people in my class and a couple of them bought one as well (:The mnemonics are so cute and easy to remember along with the information on the back of the card being very straight to the point and easy to understand! It does not contain every medication out there obviously but the ones it does have are the medications and information that is mostly used, so for whatever subject you’re learning about, it’ll have the information about the most commonly used medications and administrations. Great notecards!

Missing some drugs
Overall, it's a good book with good information and the mnemonics and visuals are helpful. I think it focuses more on the overall classes of drugs, with a few specifics here and there. From a nursing student perspective, it lacks a lot of the more important/popular/most common drugs seen in the clinical setting. It is small, but thick. It would def fit in your scrub pocket but it would be noticeable that your pocket is full.

Yaaas to card learners...
I love this! This is how I study! I need pneumonic devices, drawings. I have hundreds of handmade flash cards, I write them out, hole punch ‘em, and put them on one of those metal rings from the dollar tree. Hundreds of cards and lots of time. I love it, honestly, because I get results. I remember everything this way, even if I’m barely paying attention when I’m flipping through the cards, they absorb and I can recall them later. I’M SO THANKFUL SOMEONE ELSE WROTE THESE CARDS FOR ME SO I DON’T HAVE TO, LOL. I was dreading doing the cards for Pharmacology and right now, I’m pretty confident these are gonna fit the bill for my “card learner” needs. They’re colorful, funny, and easy to flip. And they’re a little bigger than regular index cards, so no squinting. I’m really happy with this purchase!

Great study aid for visual learners!
Great for visual learners. The front of each card comes with a cartoon illustration with funny dialogue that can make memorizing medications easier. The back of each card contains important information on drug classess such as: mode of action, uses, side effects, what to monitor for, and patient teaching.I love these flash cards! They're not too bulky. It's small enough to carry in a purse making it convenient to study on the go.It does not go over specific medications just the drug classes and it covers drug classes from every body system.I bought it new and recieved it sealed in plastic wrap.

Must Have for Nursing Students
I am in the practical nursing program and this is a must have for ALL students! Traditionally, medications are organized alphabetically which can be confusing when studying specific drug classes. In this book, they are arranged by class. The front of the card has a cute cartoon to help remember the information with what you need to know on the back (with the “important” information already highlighted). I highly recommend!!

Clear, concise, visual, small enough to take anywhere!
Hi! I bought the Mosby's Pharm. Memory Notecards on Amazon, $18 + free shipping ... and I really like it so far; it's small enough to throw in my little hiking pack and there is a visual cartoon on one side and then the important fact on the other for each important drug. The important facts include: nursing considerations, life threatening implications, most frequent side effects & patient teaching. The chapters include:Admin.Atbx/antiviralsAnticoagulants & HematinicscardiacCNSDiureticsendocrinegastrointestional... many more ... muscoskeletal, pain, psychiatric ...So I just graduated nursing school!!!! And I am preparing for NCLEX; my plan is to read a chapter in my Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN® Examination, 5e (Saunders Comprehensive Review for Nclex-Rn) and then learn the drugs ...Have a good day! Anyday that I'm not stressing about a careplan will be a good day!!! & I have a job!
