Good, but not Taos's Best
This is my second pair of Taos sandals. The first were like old favorites immediately. I could and did wear them and walk all day, no problem. This pair has an equally comfortable footbed, but the part that crosses the toes is not perfectly placed for my foot, coming too far down my toes. Scootch it up half a inch and it, too, would be a winner.

Mostly comfy but could be softer
The footbed is nice for my picky, somewhat flat feet, although not as comfortable as an older pair of Taos sandals I have. The leather is quite stiff, though, and doesn't seem to be softening up despite having worn these several times. There is some arch support. These are comfortable for a few hours, but more than that and my feet start to protest.

Good support
If you’re looking for good arch support these will fit the bill. My biggest disappointment is the sole is very stiff and I feel like I’m clomping around. Won’t wear them for long periods of time but will be ok for short stints.

Super Comfortable Quality sandal
Love everything about these sandals!!! The feel like heaven on my feet. Lots of support for my plantar fasciitis.

A whole size smaller
I ordered a size 8 which was very large on me. I normally wear size 8-9. I returned the 8's and ordered a size 7 which fit perfectly. The shoes have good arch support and look nice.

Rough leather hurt top of foot
Have a number of Taos shoes, and love them. Unfortunately, these Pioneer Sandals aren't joining my collection. The leather used on the straps is very rough, and caused irritation on top of my feet, making them un-wearable.

So comfy! Can dress up an outfit.
These are becoming my favorites! I got them to wear to a wedding. I can't wear heels and these are so cute and look a bit dressy. Very comfortable, I love wearing them. I feel pretty cute and pretty at 68!

Very comfortable
This is my 3rd pair of this brand. They are great walking sandals and are extremely comfortable. The quality is top notch!
