We got this as a small gift for a friend's daughter who loved the geology unit at school. It is perfect! But it is smaller than I had pictured -- which is totally on me not the description here haha. Just make sure you realize how small it is before you order. BUT the small box and the rocks are great!

My 6 year old loves stones, rocks and gems. This gift was a hit for Christmas. The set comes with gems, a box, a little baggy for more, a booklet outlining different gems (my son loved looking thru this) and a magnifying glass. Fun for kids, cute gift idea!

Such a perfect kit for kids, comes with a little baggie for them to hold their “gemstones” and a box to separate them all in their special little place. Not messy like those dig kits, great stones, and my kids think they are so fun.

My boys liked this when we first got it Because they love collecting rocks, but they didn't care for them very much because they were way to small and some were broken. They were all easily lost. Interest in them was very short, I wish they were bigger and not broken on top of that. They should be cheaper for what you get.

Bought is as a gift to be shared by a 7 year old nephew and a 4 year old niece. They loved it! Would buy again.
