Amazing little PWM controller for stuff outside a PC case too
This little controller is pricy, but it is the perfect solution for my problem.I have and old chimney in the basement that need positive pressure to prevent that old chimney smell from wafting into my small office. The solution has been an old 140mm PC fan running on 9V, but recently the old fan started to wear out and was pretty loud. So I replaced it with a new Noctua 140mm, and it was louder than I wanted. Pop in the NA-FC1 and I can tune it to silence while still getting better airflow than the old solution.The unit comes with a nice mix of cables to address many installation situations.There are two indicator lights are helpful, but I wish I could shut them off.Everything about this little unit feels solid and well built. I would but this again the next time I need to add PWM outside of a PC case.

Cuidado con los cables
No es culpa del fabricante, yo dañe 1 de los pines del cable y ese pin ayudaba a regular la velocidad sigue funcionando pero pues no como debería

Funktioniert auch mit 5V
Ich regel damit einen Lüfter, den ich über USB angeschlossen hab, der also nur mit 5V betrieben wird.Ich konnte bei Noctua keinen Hinweis darauf finden, ob dieses möglich ist. Es hätte ja auch sein können das die Lüftersteuerung nur mit 12V funktioniert.

Does not work as stated on their website
Their website proudly proclaims that this works with their 5v fans.It does not. I returned the item and ordered a replacement, same behaviour....I would have never bought 5v fans if I knew they were going to be 100% all the time....
