I purchase these for my daughter and she wears them in the farm daily! With these and her boots they are a perfect combination for keeping her feet and toes warm in any weather. Rain, snow, water, mud, they have been a great improvement to her farm attire for daily chores. Warm and cozy. They don’t fall down on your legs either. Good elastic in top of sock. Not too tight, but strong enough to prevent slouching!

These are not thick socks, they're warm but i’d say not the kind for lounging and keeping feet super warm, so if thats what you're looking for, keep looking..That said, they fit great and they’re just perfect for wearing with boots/booties in winter weather, hubby bought them for me but ended up using them and loving them as well. So far I've washed them all twice and they already have lint balls, most of them on the ankle part, but they are so comfortable and such nice colors that I don't mind that much. They arrived on time and very nicely packaged, and for the price I would probably buy again.

Very comfortable without cuff being too tight. Enough wool for warmth, but not itchy. Nice colors too.

I have serious doubts that these contain any significant portion of wool. They do not feel like wool, look like wool, or even keep your feet as warm as wool. I'm pretty sure these are a nice thick synthetic sock.That being said if they were to change the description to be more accurate it is a good price point for a good thick sock that can be used for hiking and other activities. I'm pretty sure that they will drive faster than a wool sock, so that is in their favor. But they also won't keep your feet warm if they get wet, like a wool sock wood, so the feature goes in both directions.If this sock had been listed as a regular poly heavyweight sock, I would have given it five stars. As I believe it is incorrect advertising, sort of a bait and switch, I did dock stars for that.

I like thesesocks because they are warm and comfy! I have skinny legs but even still most socks have a really tight band at the top restricting blood flow. I cannot stand socks that constrict. These are slightly tighter at the top but are reasonably loose.
