Deserves six stars
Outstanding Quality at a modest price. The Collier is the best fountain pen in my small collection. It looks great. That is what got my attention first. Then I watched videos of Brian Gray at work in his small shop. After that I searched for reviews of the Collier, all of them praised it highly. When I finally got it in my hand and inked up it works so smoothly. I didn't know what tip to buy so chose the fine nib. I am glad I did because the ink flow through the fine nib looks almost like a medium. I am not complaining. It is not a problem at all. In fact Brian tunes each feed and nib to be just right in the pens he makes. Unlike some of my cheaper pens this one always starts when pen hits the paper and doesn't skip as I write. It feels so good in hand that I know it will be a life long companion.

Smooth writer
Super smooth. Beautiful pen. I don't know why you would design such a beautiful pen with a cap that can't be posted and the pen body is too short for my manly hands. The cap is long so why not cut the cap an inch and put the extra inch on the body. This way you don't have to cramp your hand. I love the Opus 88 but this pen writes smoother.
