Overall this is a top quality glass shelf that gives plenty of confidence in use. The method described for establishing the mounting position is a little tricky and requires the usual 3 hands and an antigravity generator but conventional measurements were easier and it took me about 15 minutes to do. The described method involves fitting the brackets to the glass shelf and holding the lot in position to mark the drill holes - easier said than done on slippery bathroom tiles. I found it easier to establish and mark the required centre and height for the shelf and work from there with a rule and level. The brackets each have 2 mounting holes making for a secure fit and the very thick glass shelf whilst heavy is extremely strong. The shelf is fitted by screwing the bottom section of the 2-part bracket up against it so you need to make sure you have room to do this when deciding the mounting points. The glass retention is by a plastic insert on top of the bottom bracket and doesn’t provide much grip. Rather than use excessive pressure I fitted a sticky ‘tic-a-tab’ to the top bracket piece which gives absolutely solid security. Too early to tell how well the bracket plating will last, but well worth 5 stars.

It is a shelf that is glass. Looks good and holds our bottles and is so easy to fit.

I bought it because it looked more substantial than many other options and it doesn’t disappoint. It was easy to install and is exactly the right size for my little cloakroom. It is easy to clean.

Good price for what it is

The media could not be loaded. Only downside is that even when the shelf is installed and clamps tightened to hold the glass fixed in place, I can still pull the shelf away from the wall mount. There is a slight angle on top and bottom of metal clamp resulting in less surface area in contact with the shelf, so tightening further May crack the glass but fail to address the poor hold. The plastic on the inside of metal clamps is hard and seems a bit cheaply finished as there is small gaps between plastic and metal. Shelves are in use and doing the job, but I wouldn’t advise this for holding expensive items or children.
