I've had a 3000 dermal for a long time and it passed. So I bought another one but this one has a handheld attachment that is great to have! This tool is great.

I use it for wood engraving and shaping. I also use it frequently for handyman work; removing material in small spaces, cutting nails/screws, etc. This is my second Dremel 3000, but this time I wanted the attachment for engraving. My previous Dremel 3000 lasted me several years, but I became too aggressive with it attempting to carve into some ash wood. I spent a lot of time reviewing other Dremel models as well as several other brands of rotary tools. If there’s something better for under $100 I don’t know what it is. Last point; when I told my wife I broke my Dremel 3000 and NEEDED to replace it she wasn’t happy...until I told her what a new one costs Ha! She though it would be $200-300. She knows how much I use it. Most of my tools I could dream of an upgrade or something slightly different, but I’m not dreaming of replacing or upgrading my Dremel 3000. That sounds corny, like I’m gonna be some fake YouTube reviewer/influencer. I don’t have the luxury of buying tools on a whim so even this relatively small purchase was something I spent a lot of time grinding my teeth on.

I use my dremel for all kinds of jobs, both professional and hobby-level, and it's really amazing how useful a tiny cutoff wheel can be. Buy lots of them, you will go through them... and always wear eye protection

this is the perfect set for a beginner or anyone who is crafty. Its easy to hold very ergonomically and comfortable in my hand. You can use it with or without the extension. I love working with it.

This tool kit is by far the best all-in-one kit that I've seen. Most kits for this type of power tool only have the basic tool and maybe a couple of attachments, but this kit even has the remote wand and the spiral cutter.

Absolutely love using this to create armor out of foam. So much easier to make details in the foam and smooth the edges.

I wanted one for a long time, and I finally got one! It works great. The Flex shaft is a must have for fine detail stuff. 👍👍

If you're looking for a decent rotary tool with the ability to use a flexible shaft, then this is the one for you. It does as advertised, and will give you years of use. The only 'downside' I have about this tool is that it only has one collet that comes with the kit. You have to buy other sized ones at various places (including Amazon) and they can be a bit on the pricy side.

Moi qui ne donne aucun 5 étoiles, la marque DREMEL est gravée sur mon coeur, mon premier m'a permis de sculpter la faune ailée qui m'a value plusieurs prix (et des premiers), je viens d'en racheter un deuxième APRÈS PLUS DE 10 ANS D'USAGE, pour m'éviter de changer de fraise trop souvent, car il fonctionne encore après y avoir changé les 'brosses'

This Dremel is excellent, I use it almost daily in my shop and would recommend it to anyone who wants quality.
