I needed large iron on patches to reinforce the arse of my trousers. I didn’t particularly want tartan, but there was nothing else available. So now I have a tartan arse.They worked fine but are a bit stiffer than the original fabric .

Sturdy and stylish. Used on my car seats but they would be great on denim or for crafting.

Patched a small corner on sofa. Was easy to use and covered perfectly. Has stayed in place and instead of an expensive repair it has saved a lot of money. Would definitely recommend.

not very good would not stick on

I have a pair of Deadpool bunny slippers I have been abusing for years now, and it has its fair share of wear all over. Still, I don't want to throw it away, so I keep repairing the holes with different kinds of iron-on patches.The packaging is a simple resealable poly bag, just big enough to hold the instructions and the patches, so no extra waste. The description and title of the product tells everything else, really; you get 4 big sheets of different tartan designs that you can cut and trim as needed.One thing I didn't like is that 2 of my patches had a not-straight pattern - that is, the design is kind of tilted. As I used this kit to reinforce the top part of the inside of my Deadpool bunny slippers, it didn't matter much to me, but I would be a bit annoyed otherwise. The other was the stickiness. I had to spend more time ironing these on than normal, and I even had to re-iron a part. It did stay on afterwards, but it started to peel off at the corners. It's easy to fix this problem, but a bit of a nuisance.Ironing it on is easy, and the kit comes with clear instructions. I know from trying out a different kit from this seller that layering these patches is possible, so one can be a bit more creative with the application!Overall, this kit does what it's supposed to, for a fair price. I wish the patterns were straight, though, and stuck just as well as their other set. 4*

These are tough iron-on patches in a plaid pattern. I have used them for reinforcement and repair of vulnerable areas like knees and elbows. Each is 13 cm x 18 cm which can also be cut to a smaller size if required. The pack includes 4 and although they do stick very well, even after washing, I think they are overpriced, working out at around £2 each. I also find that, even with strong glue, after a while of wear they tend to work loose so I stitch them anyway.These are fully washable at any temperature which is good but there are other packs equally as good but less expensive.
