Havit Power Strip

really good Power Strip for daily use. I bought this strip for charging my laptop, iphone, and other electronics. It works very good. It is easy, convenient and safe to use it. I really like the power button on the top, so that i can control the current. Also there is enough ports for usage.As far as everything works as described, feels valued, lit when connected. Fortunately, besides 3 typical USB, there is an extra hdmi port and an type C port! GreatI want to recommend this product to other customers with similar demands,

Works as expected. I used double sided tape to secure it to the back of the desk in my office. It gives me the ability to easily connect and disconnect large power adapters, as well as leave my iPhone dock and wireless headset (both of which charge via USB) directly into the USB ports, instead of monopolizing the outlets or USB ports my computer. Having both the outlets and USB ports so accessible for devices I need to connect and disconnect periodically is great. As others have stated, the USB ports deliver 2.4A, so I am able to charge my iPad Pro directly from a USB port, without utilizing the power adapter.

Great product! We were traveling for a week and had limited outlets at our disposal. This was perfect to keep our phones, laptop and tablets charged. Highly recommend. Update: First of all, this is NOT what I ordered. The one I ordered has 4 USB outlets, not 3. I can no longer find it on Amazon and when I click my order this item is what shows up even though it is not what I purchased! I loved it at first, but now it is making a very loud electrical buzzing sound. I am unplugging when not in use. Not sure I should continue to use. Too late to return now. Disappointing. So I am changing my rating from 5 stars to 2.Update (02/19/17) : Stopped working completely, so lasted only about seven months. Changing my rating again.

UPDATE---- 2 stars removed.my wife and daughter spilled a medium cup of sprite beside the bed and some of it went on this power strip. When I came to bed and turned off the lights, I saw flashes on the ceiling and smelled electrical smoke. The liquid was shorting out the USB ports making blue sparks. my lamp and alarm clock were plugged into the electric outlets. my phone was plugged in USB. My phone and kindle were NOT charging but my lamp and clock remained functional. the electric outlets continued to work even though the USB were shooting sparks. IT DID NOT TRIP THE BREAKER ON THE STRIP! This scares me and I discontinued using this strip and cut off the cord so it cannot be used again.I am considering to stop using these in my kids' rooms.no problems yet after 1 week. I only have 2 usb cables plugged in and both devices charge adequately. My alarm clock/radio/30pin dock has a HUGE box plug. the outlets on this strip are close enough that the box plug almost covers the next outlet. not a real problem for my nightstand though. cord is plenty long to reach wherever it needs to. I like the little Velcro wrap to keep the cord neat but it will never get used in my situation. I bought one for each bedroom in my house.

The media could not be loaded.  A surge protector power strip with 3 AC outlet ports with decent spacing and 4 USB charging ports each can deliver up to 2.4A output and smart detect the device draw so they deliver the right amount of output. Device is well priced for it's function and small enough to put in a travel bag making it perfect for turning 1 hotel room A/C outlet into a full charging station. Accomodates charging my 2 laptops, Kindle Fire HDX, iPhone, 2 Bluetooth Headsets and External Battery all from single charging device.I could always say it could use more A/C outlet ports but it works better as a travel one with 3. Honestly it can deliver a total of 12A output and use up almost a full 15 amp circuit by itself so it really is a great device for a bedroom, or on the go, where you don't need 6 A/C devices plugged in. The price is very fair compared to other similar ones, and I have been a fan of Havit products for a while. Could use a Black Model for those who don't like white color schemes.Disclaimer: Havit did provide me with a coupon so I can get the device and provide a thorough and accurate review. All opinions are 100% mine and mine alone.

It does what it says, and works well. But I do have a few areas of concern:1) The device is not UL listed, so hasn't been safety tested in USA.2) The cord is 18 gauge wire (regular power strips are 14 or 12 gauge) 18 is smaller than 12 or 14 (think speaker wire). It says it has over current protection, not sure what the rating is, but for 18 AWG the limit should be about 600 Watts. If you plug a heater or something powerful in here you will be in trouble for sure!3) There are no holes in the back for mounting.But for what we use it for (powering our laptop and charging our mobile gadgets) it works perfectly well. We place it on top of our desk at the back, and it makes quick connections a breeze. 4 USB ports get used often, and the charge is as fast perhaps faster than the charger of the iphone 6, even the ipad air.

Excellent packaging. It should receive an award. The power bar is sleek and attractive. Does it work? Absolutely. I can charge my tablet and phone without a cumbersome adapted. Keeps the table top organized.

It makes a buzzing noise and has only 3 electric outlets instead of the five I need that I also had on the old power bar.
