These are the first sharpening pucks I have ever owned or used. So far I have only used one of them. I am sharpening my small age with a file, pouring a little oil on the stone, and them rubbing the axe . It seems to make a smooth blade.

I’ve never known how to sharpen an axe! These came with east to follow directions. I did use a tad bit of water on the stone while sharpening. After sharpening my VERY dull axe.. you can see in the photo the stone looks almost new! I’m very happy with this product!

easy to used

Its small but my hands are small considering that I'm a guy standing at 6ft tall, I hope you get an idea. Besides that I loved the results I got, I got so into it after sharpening my curved machete that I began sharpening a small axe and since I was so into it I ended up even sharpening the blades of my clippers(Its so hard to get a haircut during Covid season) and the results did not disappoint. I was cutting leaves, wood and my hair so easily, I really noticed the difference. I highly recommend this for the price(12.99) that comes with 2pcs. :)

Again a little difficult to sharpen garden tools. However with some practice it can do it’s job.

Very easy to hold, worked out my blades really well in a short period of time. Water absorption is optimal without mess. I will buy again.

I purchased this on recommendation from friends and family who are either arborists' or sawyers in the lumber industry and am glad i did.Works pretty much as intended, I have used this to sharpen 3 hatchets and 1 axe. It's handy and does the job well. I like its compactness and the fit in my hand. I would recommend. plus for this price you get two. I'm giving one to my Mother in law along with a hatchet for her camping trips.

A tad small for my hands, but gets the job done, and they do crumble a bit, but does stay in tact. $11 for two is a fair deal, basically practice pucks. I think they are meant for softer steel.

1 use sharpening a machete and side is half worn already. Very disappointed
