This product is wonderful! I wanted something I could place on my fridge and use as a shopping list/memo pad. After reading a few bad reviews of some other similar products on Amazon, I was hesitant to go this route but decided to give it a try. It was worth it!The magnet is very powerful and sticks to the fridge with no slipping or movement. The white marker that is included with the purchase works great. It doesn't drip or run when writing and easily wipes off with just a damp cloth or paper towel. As I've read from some other product reviews, it doesn't leave any ghosting behind and cleans completely off with no hard scrubbing or chemicals.I highly recommend both the chalkboard and the marker and will be looking into getting additional marker colors from this same brand.

I recently ordered this magnetic backed "chalkboard" to put on our refrigerator to write out our weekly meals and keep track of "to do" items. It is important to note that while the board sticks to your refrigerator, magnets do not stick to the board. I love the "look" of this board on my fridge. It reminds me of seeing the menu in a neighborhood restaurant. The board is super easy to clean, allowing you to wipe off text from the marker that accompanies the board with just a damp towel. However, I've noticed that the prior writing still remains visible on the board, even after cleaning. It isn't too bothersome once you re-write something on top of the board. But, for someone like me who notices small things, this was a bit of a disappointment. It is also easier to clean the whole board rather than trying to clean off a section. I find that when I try to do the latter, I end up wiping away words that I wanted to keep. To clean, I take the board off of the fridge and lay it on a paper towel and then I rinse and wipe the whole thing down with a paper towel. The pen that comes with the board does not write consistently, and I find myself "writing over" strokes to try and get a solid like. I will probably look into getting a pen with a smaller tip than the one that comes with these boards. Overall, this product is great for our family's needs. After using it for a few weeks, I even bought a second in another size.

stuck this little baby on a 1.7cu ft fridge placed on top of my desk, and it is just amazing. can be easily wiped clean by anything wet. the technique is to wipe the residue with a dry paper towel, and it's as good as new. since my compact fridge is cube-shaped, i needed to cut 6.5x16 off the board. stuck this piece to the side of my fridge, and voila--some extra writing space. the cutting part was my main concern before placing my order. the description indicates that a sharp knife may be needed, but i was able to cut it with a pair of dollar scissors.on a side note, i purchased some extra chalk markers by chalk talk. they work perfectly with the board, but i believe any liquid chalk marker would. the product is just that good. would give this 10 stars if i could.

I've looked through several reviews on Amazon to find the right board to write notes on the fridge, just for me and my hubby, nothing fancy. I didn't want to pay too much money but also didn't want to end up with something cheap that won't work. This is what I think after using it for 2 months:+ This is exactly what the description says+ It does wipes really easily with a wet cloth - every time after cleaning it looks like brand new+ it stays in place pretty solid and at the same time not too difficult to move around if you need too- the pen does not have a magnet (basically you cannot place the pen on the door)And this is the only minus I found)Hope this would be helpful

Great little chalk board for my refrigerator. It sticks and resticks really well. Washes clean easy. This is the second one I have bought. The first one was overs year ago and it’s good as new. I decorate one with scripture art and the other for a shopping list as we run out of food. I find the best way to avoid the residual effects of previous chalk use is with a magic eraser by mr clean.

I keep this wipe board on my fridge with a list of the things in my freezer. Without this list, I would never eat half of the food I buy. Simple product that perfectly solved a problem for me.

I had gotten this plain chalk Ziggyboard and a calendar for my black french door refrigerator and both look nice and are very useful without looking too cluttered. A plus that this comes with some variety of chalk marker colors. The chalk easily wipes off with a damp paper towel and the chalk markers seems cleaner and DEFIANTLY less smelly than dry erase markers. The magnetic back makes taking the calendar off easy so much nicer than the decal/sticker boards that can leave a sticky residue and that are usually not reusable. It says magnets do not stick to the board which is the case but if you are using this board on a refrigerator magnets will work on the board.

After reading reviews for this my expectations were relatively low, but I am very happy with it! It erases very easily with a towel (including paper towel) and a little bit of water. If I wipe it dry, I can re-write on it right away. The chalk pen is higher quality than other chalk pens I've gotten. It would be great if the pen was magnetized too, which is the reason for the one-star deduction.

Exactly what I wanted. Stick very well on the fridge. The marker that comes with it is easily removable and it doesn't leave a mark on the board
