So, this purchase was meant to be for my nephew...But he may not be given it, because me and the dog had so much fun playing with it!First things first, I was surprised by the size if it. It was bigger than I thought it would be, especially for the amount of money paid.It came well packed from Amazon, and the actual contents of the box was very well organised and packed.As you can see from the pics, the robot comes with accessories (shield and firing gun), as well as a well thought out remote control and even a mini screw-driver to fit the batteries in it. Luckily, I had 2 spare AA's (as most people do) in a drawer.A quick glance at the instructions, and I had the robot charging via the included USB cable. Left this for a couple of hours to get some juice in it, so that I could check it for my nephew (honestly, it wasn't for my enjoyment...)Pressed the big button on it's chest, and bang, it came alive!All I can say is I wish I had this when I was a kid. The movement, sounds and control (not to mention the gun) makes this a robot that every kid would love. And, for the price, it's a winner.Now to pack it back up...I'll try and force myself...

It can dance, sing songs and, most importantly attack !!!I seem to spend my days under attack since its arrival. This is much to my son's deliight :0)The robot rechargeable which is great, as means no need for endless battery replacement. The remote control takes 2 AA batteries, but they should last a while.All in all, a big hit, very good value for money considering how solid it is and how much it can do

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  A toy robot has been on my sons Xmas list for some time so I've been preparing and researching and found this one that had some good write ups. Its much bigger than I expected but that's great! My son will be 7 at Christmas and I can really see him enjoying this. Its built very well, none of it seems flimsy at all. And even better is its rechargeable! No changing batteries constantly. He's going to be very pleased. Lots of different actions and features to keep him entertained.

Well packaged and well made. Very easy to set up, there’s a small screw driver in the box to use when inserting the two AA batteries, which aren’t supplied. Worked immediately for a few minutes and then the robot itself needed to be charged via USB cable. The robot actually tells you it needs charging. The robot worked perfectly using the controller supplied and hasn’t needed charging since the first use. So it needed two AA batteries for the controller and the robot needed a USB charge soon after first opening the package. Instructions are reasonably easy to follow and illustrated on the controller by graphics. It does what it says it does on the advertising. Used on kitchen top or hard flooring so far with no problems. My grandson will enjoy playing with it at Christmas.

My 8 year old daughter really likes it, it plays, music, sings, shoots bullets & dances. Easily moves across our carpet. A routine can be programmed, easy to use and logical remote control. Charging is easy using a USB cable & volume can be turned down (it is quite loud otherwise). The hand gestures are a little difficult to work out, however this did not matter for her.

I bought this toy as a Xmas gift for my son who has just turned seven. He wanted a robot which you can control, which makes all kinds of robot noises and shoots stuff and this is exactly what Sonomo does.The design and the overall quality are probably better than I expected. I am not a big fan of plastic toys, which are often tacky, poorly made and more often than not seem assembled in haste (and they probably are), but Sonomo has surprised me positively in this respect. It has no ridiculous, oversized weapons, boosters and whatnots or bright fluorescent colours and seems rather sturdy.The robot walks and slides fast or slow, turns and reverses on most even and solid surfaces (we have tried a carpet, tarmac and a wooden floor). I do not think it can cope that well with sand or grass but then we have not really tested it outside.Sonomo has lots of features, some of which we have not fully explored. It responds to gesture commands and some voice commands. These are sometimes problematic though because you have to be very careful and exact with gestures and pronunciation to get a result. Sonomo also tells stories, talks about science and plays music.All in all, this is a great toy and my son has been having lots of fun with it. I would recommend it for younger children - 8 or 9 year old get excited about other things these days.

Bought this for our soon to be 5year old. I opened it as wanted to check if all is ok. My husband and I absolutely love this little robot. It works perfectly, walks, glides and dances. It also has sensors and responds to hand movements. It’s also very good on thick carpets. Really happy with it. My son will love it. Highly recommending it to my friends and family.

I bought this for my grandson’s sixth birthday. Within minutes of giving him the robot he was totally absorbed in playing with it. He managed to control it instantly, and when it needed a charge it was all so easy for him. He was so thrilled with his robot he took it to bed. He would have taken it for a shower as well but was persuaded by his Dad that was not a good idea.The only sad thing is that because of lockdown I can’t play with it !A great toy.
