You want to learn magic, start here!
I just received this set today and straight away I tried out 3 tricks on my father, all 3 worked!I did the coin trick, which does require you to spend an extra 20p on 2 identical 10p pieces but it worked perfectly! He actually asked where the stack of 10p’s are after the trick! The second I tried was the handkerchief.Spoilers!!!You get a fake thumb, which luckily matches my skin tone so if you’re not white you will need a different fake thumb, even for me it’s just my colour, I’m not quite as pink as the tone but it worked!I thought it was so obvious I had a fake thumb but no one noticed! I guess that’s how magic works, they weren’t looking for it.Highly recommend this set and I’m only 3 tricks!

Great magic set.
Not cheap but if you’re serious about doing Magic tricks well worth it. Unlike many for sale this set is very good quality and all the tricks can be kept safe in the nice box it come with.

Stunning
Being a professional magician I’ve come across many magic sets through teaching and this has to be the best I’ve come across so far. The quality of the props are exceptional and the included instructions and online tutorials will have you performing in no time

A bit tricky to learn
I didn't think the price is justified. There is a book that teaches you a lot of tricks to perform with the props provided, but some of the tricks are very longwinded and hard to understand how to perform. Because of this, I could only perform half of the tricks in the book. All of the props except for the handkerchief (which gets holes quickly) and the coins (which don't look realistic at all), are great. It's easy to learn an handful of the tricks but most of the tricks are either confusing to learn or too long winded. Some of the tricks are also the oldest tricks in the book and I've had a lot of people pointing out how the tricks were performed.

Awful quality, especially at this price point.
As soon as I opened the set I spotted the brass on the dynamic rings had been tarnished by the 'red flocked fleece' where it had touched, I then removed one of the 3, large brass looking cups to find they were of a very light, poor quality plastic and poor finish. When I picked up a part of the dynamic rings I straight away knew this was a trick that you could struggle with, this aspect alone would cost more than the price of the set if it was of a satisfactory quality used by a magician. The whole set has a very cheap feel to it and at this price point I expected far better, in particular from the man fronting the magic circle - he should be very ashamed of the products he is selling.

Some good but too much bad.
The set is well presented in a beautiful box. There are a decent number of tricks included as well as a small black book containing all the magical knowledge you need. Some of the props are made from metal such as dynamic coins. And the coins used in the excellent matrix coins trick. Most however are plastic. The wand is the most notable example looking to be much better quality than it actually is. The cups and balls is another example. They are light and of quite cheap quality. But they are functional. At least they would be if not for the fact that one arrived faulty. The chop cup rattles making it unusable.Another glaring issue is the vanishing gimmick (I won't give away what it is). Seems to have been designed for a newborn baby. So that's a significant percentage of the tricks provided that don't work. And don't think that marvins will replace them because they won't answer emails. All in all I'd save your money and buy one of their lower priced kits. This is a gimmick. And a barely usable one at that.

How much?
Over £100 for this? Kidding me surely.
