I was delighted just to stumble across this new brand on amazon and brought without hesitation. I was greeted with the sleek outer packaging from Beechmore Books. The firm protective cardboard with ‘BEECHMORE BOOKS’ printed carefully on the front gave me confidence that the product was not going to disappoint. As I slid off the roof of the box I was incredibly pleased. The 120 g/m2 paper screams quality, the elasticated band and mini pouch to the rear compliment the design. This notebook is way better value than moleskin or Dingbat and would highly recommend

Some people might say £10.00 is quite a lot for a notebook and I would usually agree with them, However, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. I needed a notebook to start writing my daily goals out and I wanted something that looked nice on my desk (Aesthetics is everything to me) and this does the job for both. Feels like good quality material and you can see the craftsmanship in it. The double ++ is that it's a great place to rest your phone on as well because it will never slide off. :D would definitely recommend.

This notebook is gorgeous. I am a keen writer and use diaries, notebooks etc everyday so I needed something both high quality and comfortable to use. This ticks all of the boxes for me. I was using my first one as a diary and looked forward to writing in it due to how high quality the leather and paper is. Holding it felt nice in the hands. The paper is really high quality and you can tell; the pen ink dosent show at all through the other side of the page. There is a page holder attached in the style of a material band which is a handy addition too. I have recently bought three more to use as notebooks for my writing. I recommend.

Absolutely incredible service. Ordered pm on one day and arrived before noon the next day. Importantly left in exactly the place I had specified on the order form. I was also kept abreast of the delivery update by constants emails.It makes a beautiful gift with wonderful package; i love the sturdy box, with no dented corners, tissue paper and a great note. It is stylish and smart and would work for either men or women. It has the feel and sense of a luxury item but at an affordable price. Absolutely love it and will be buying more. And the best part is that the quality of paper is such that it passes the writing test ie. you can write in a fountain pen and the ink does not show. So, very good quality paper and super smooth to write on.If there is a downside it is the colour of the leather. This is highly personal but I am not keen on brown leather. And actually, don't have any brown shoes, or handbags etc so it is definitely a personal foible. Looking forward to the exact same product but in colours.I will be buying more as gifts.

Unable to comment on durability as it’s for a present so I haven’t fully unwrapped it. Packaging is really nice and you can see this company is trying to keep the price low and affordable whilst making it look nice! Something not often found with cheaper products these days!Also unable to comment on paper thickness and pen tests as don’t want to actually rip off the tissue paper and it’s nicely held in place by branded stickers. This company has gone to more effort than others to ensure it “looks” nice. Hopefully the person I’ve bought it for finds that it’s nice to write in and there’s no bleed through! Will update once they’ve used it.

My usually go to notebook for the last five years has been Leuchterm 1917 but at the price, I thought I’d give one of these a go.The heavy paper is a plus for me and is on par with a Leuchterm, however the quality of the book isn’t quite there, there were a few trails of glue here and there and the binding isn’t quite as crisp and tight, I also miss the cover and contents pages.Although some may find the ‘Theatre’ of receiving a book in a cellophane wrapped box with embossed lettering and a tissue cover over the notebook, I find it rather pointless and if anything wasteful.It does undermine the idea of vegan/sustainable leather being used for the cover when the book comes with so much additional packaging that goes straight to the recycling bin.The notebook itself is good to write on, no bleed at all and nice smooth pages. Again, it’s a personal preference but I prefer a narrow rules notebook for my spider like scribbling. I can’t hold that against them though...Overall, it’s an excellent notebook - Perhaps 4 stars at the price is harsh but I’m really comparing it to what I consider the 5 star rating of a Leuchterm.I’ll buy these again for recipe books and garden notes but for journals I’ll be back to Leuchterm, the saving on price isn’t enough to sway me but for those on a budget it’s an excellent choice.

I bought these as a gift for a vegan friend and when I got it I was tempted to keep it to myself. I did manage to muster some pateince and bought another one for myself. The unboxing experience is fanastic and the feel/ weight of the book is exquisite. For the price this still delivers excellent value; it outperforms other notebooks that are more expensive. I've tried them all, and this sits well in the middle. I would recommend for a couple quid less the Lemone brand, and for a coupla more the Dingbats.The hardcover is soft touch and firm, the paper is thick and crisp. I would say the paper is some of the best I have ever tried, even better than the Dingbats, I experienced no bleeding whatsoever even with a thick fountain pen. However, small minus point on the binding, had some excess glue on a few pages. This was only on one bind on one of the notebooks, so a minor point that doesn't take away from the whole experience of the book. Still 5 stars for me, thoroughly recommend.

The notebook arrived in a really elegant box and really looks the part. You see decent hardback notebooks in awful plastic wrap on the high street for around 20 quid. This looks so much better (I love the pouch at the back) for much better value. Would highly recommend Beechmore.
