Dexen GM6K-M Fireplace Control Module – IPI Ignition, 3V Battery or Transformer Powered – Works with Quadra-Fire, Heatilator, Heat N Glo, Majestic – Replaces SRV593-592, 593-592

My fireplace would spark momentarily but would not light. After taking a look at my module, I felt it needed replacing. I purchased this Dexen GM6K-M based on resemblance, and it was exactly what I needed! Super easy to install, much cheaper than paying labor costs, and my fireplace IMMEDIATELY lights up. I've never seen it turn on that quickly before. Safe to say, it's worth the buy! Before dishing out hundreds of dollars to get someone to troubleshoot your fireplace, try replacing your module first.

My fireplace simply stopped working and after a little research I discovered that the control module was bad. Amazon had the perfect replacement, and it was a quick and easy install. Now my fireplace works perfectly!

This item was exactly the replacement part we needed for our fireplace. It was easy to install and immediately worked like it was supposed to. Way less expensive than replacing the entire fireplace!

The module was very easy to install as it is exactly like the old one. The fireplace lit right away. I probably saved $100 by doing it myself. It even arrived a day early. I am happy and my wife is happy with me!

My original one went out in my fireplace. I was able to find the exact same one and replace it. As soon as I did, my fireplace was working perfectly.

Worked perfectly and immediately got our fireplace back online. My only complaint is the packaging. It shipped in a plastic envelope. No padding around the module, which contains exposed electrical connection pins. Could easily have been damaged during shipping but fortunately was not. This should at least ship in a padded envelope or better yet, in a box with appropriate materials included to protect it from impact damage.

I replaced the same Dexen controller for my fireplace after troubleshooting all of the voltages and connections. It took less than two minutes to remove and replace the leads/plugs.

My fireplace has been intermittently working for the last couple years. I didn't use it all summer long and when I tried to use it to get warm, it refused to light. I checked everything and couldn't get the pilot light to come back on and there was no manual pilot ignition on my fireplace. I bought this control module in the hopes that it was just something this simple... sure enough, it was. I was able to swap over the units 1 wire at a time and as soon as I was done, the fireplace came back to life. Saved me a $200 service call and waiting more than 2 months for the local shop to get to me.!
